"Sons and daughters of God, from out the White Fire Core of Being you have come—I have come. And I welcome you this evening into the chambers of the secret rays. For there I desire to instruct you in the action of the secret rays upon your consciousness and what you can expect to receive and to give in the presence of the secret rays.

"The secret rays promote an action of detail, the final sculpturing of the mind and consciousness in the perfect image of the Christ. The secret rays are like the refiner’s fire. They purge, they purify. When man has said of himself 'My work is finished,' I have sent forth the secret rays to show him that the detail was not finished. For in the conclusion of the spiral, the Law requires perfection.

"As Mary the Mother took the trouble to arrange the flowers, the precious roses, in the apron of Juan Diego, so the secret rays come into your being to arrange the floral offering of the soul, to see that all is in readiness that you might stand before the Court of the Sacred Fire and present yourself in the best Light, the best image which you can muster and which you have built as the giant pyramid through the ages, ages of incarnation.

"You have heard that man is a starry body, a five-pointed star. The five points of Light that make the star of this version of man’s consciousness are the five secret rays. The exactness of the secret rays as they are released from the centers placed within your form for this purpose goes forth into the world to draw all into the plumb line of divinity. I say then, this is no time for dalliance, for sloppiness, for lack of cleanliness in your person. For this is the hour when God demands the allness of man. And perfection is the great standard."

" . . . Thus all of the poisons of the Dhyani Buddhas, when they are present in the children of the Light and are not rooted out, blind them to the serpentine, treacherous lies of these fallen ones that are designed not only to limit their own mechanization man, whom they fear will rise up in anger and overthrow them, but [also] to limit the productivity [of the children of the Light] and the covering of the earth with the Lightbearers.

"Therefore, beloved, those who would remain free from vulnerability to the fallen ones must swiftly pursue the mysteries and the initiations of the Dhyani Buddhas. You can watch yourself, beloved, through your own Holy Christ Self, through the inner eye of the soul, who knows everything, through the All-Seeing Eye of [God focused in] the third-eye chakra. And you may observe and you may call to your Holy Christ Self and to the Inner Buddha to show you where those poisons are present and how you can root them out and replace them with the glorious image of the golden Buddha!

"Wherever you see corruption in the self or another replace it with the glorious image of the golden Buddha and see that Buddha smiling back at you out of that person, out of the [chakras, the] self or [the] consciousness. Whatever you see that is imperfect in another or yourself, beloved, [whenever you] see [it, see] the golden Buddha blazing, see the golden Buddha blazing, and there you will have the response of the Buddha. And you will see the transformation and you will see the Buddha step out of that one to initiate you, to embrace you, to place upon your head the crown of everlasting Life!

"Behold Maitreya where’er you walk. Behold Maitreya in the most unexpected bodies, houses, temples, persons. Behold, Maitreya cometh and he cometh with ten thousand of his saints, as Sanat Kumara does come with ten thousand of his saints, as well as Gautama, as well as Jesus."

"For all actions recorded on the periphery of your Causal Body (the Dharmakaya) and all actions recorded on the body of karmic causes that is wrapped around you here below (the Nirmanakaya) are also recorded on the outer spheres of consciousness. And when you achieve divine resolution, these outer spheres come into conformity with the inner mandala of the Buddhas.

"Thus it is in order that we should begin with the within and the seed within and that we should allow the seed to open and to grow and to affect every part of being. This is a ritual that is accomplished, beloved ones, slowly, gently. There is no hurry, for it takes place in timelessness and spacelessness.

"Thus, above all, it is incumbent upon the bodhisattva to do well and it is necessary that what he does well he should do with completeness, having as a goal the rendering whole of some portion of self rather than the transformation of the entire self all at once. All of you are being transformed through your Dharmakaya even as you are transforming yourselves through discipleship measure by measure.

"We come, then, for the regrouping of your forces and to draw you into alignment with first principles and your point of origin that you might discover and fulfill the reason for your being, why you are here. Our Messenger in your midst comes to assist you to stay on course and to get back on course when you stray too far to the right or to the left.

"Thus know that until you have balance, even in the threefold flame, your perception may not be balanced. The five secret rays are a tremendous aid in your achieving balance at all levels. These will pierce impure substances, cut the Gordian knots, repolarize the behavioral patterns and replace misconceptions with right conceptions.

"In calling to the Five Dhyani Buddhas as we have taught you to do, beloved (and we have asked you to make that call to us with the preamble to 'Mighty Cosmos' Secret Rays' decree), you will discover an amazing alchemy, one that is almost indescribable! As the outer becomes more self-effacing, the inner becomes more powerful.

"I speak of your being and of your soul. When all the fire of your being infolds itself into that supreme white fire core of self, then you know the strength, the vajra, of the Buddhas. Then you need not continually push forth that strength or demonstrate it to others. For then you are pure being.

"If you think you cannot attain this, I tell you, you never will if you do not begin. And if you begin and if you work day by day with the equilateral triangle of self, you will find a deep inner empowerment that has naught to do with outer politics or rising above your fellows, ruling nations and seeing yourselves as important people.

"As you understand the principle of the Tao, which is the fount of all Buddhism, you will come to realize that there is a trinity of movement within. And you will see that the greater the internalization of that Buddhic energy, the less fanfare you need to have concerning your outer person.

"Thus, let the gentle ones go forth. Let them go forth, for these we would sponsor. Let the balanced ones seek balance in the five secret rays and in the Trinity of the heart and in the Divine Mother. The power of the three-times-three is available unto all—available unto all.

"I come, then, with a certain substance of Light that is for the binding-up of the brokenhearted, that is for the ministering unto the poor, that is for the binding together of all true souls of Light who would create out of this Community the geometry of a giant honeycomb, each little hexagon filled with the elixir of the golden oil of the honeybee.

"Think of this great honeycomb! Think of the oneness, every side attached to another side. Think of how powerful is the Great White Brotherhood and the antahkarana thereof that spans the cosmos. This you are intended to be in a community of brotherly, sisterly love.

"But some have not understood how. Some have been carrying very heavy burdens of karma that they consider too hard to bear. And therefore they have taken side streets, the way that seemed right but was not right. They have sought all kinds of cures, when the cure for the soul is the action of the secret rays multiplied by the power of the balanced threefold flame of the heart of Christ and Buddha."

" . . . Perhaps you should engage in a greater exercise of both sides of the brain and both sides of the body that you might know a greater balance in your four lower bodies (etheric, mental, emotional, physical) for a greater comprehension of those things that are inner in the five secret rays (right brain) and those things that are outer in the seven rays (left brain), all of which are a part of your very being and yet you have not learned to access them.

" . . . And the sixth poison (in addition to ignorance, anger, pride, cravings and envy) is non-Will and non-Being—fear, doubt and non-belief in God the Great Guru—antidoted by Vajrasattva's wisdom of the diamond will of God.

" . . . Do you understand, beloved, the responsibility with which we come? For when you maintain a positive spin in your chakras, mind, heart and soul you are bequeathing that momentum moment by moment, day by day to the entire evolution of planet Earth.

" . . . Therefore be still and know that the I AM THAT I AM within you is God, that it is all reality."

"The child within each and every one of you is the holy innocence that is never without the inner sense of God through the five secret rays. These must be pursued as five wave lengths, as five notes on the piano.

"Play, then, the five black notes that they may be heard. [Pianist plays notes.]

"Become sensitive, then, to gradations of consciousness, for the secret rays are between the seven rays. Gradations of consciousness, blendings and then the entering into the white-fire core of the blending of the flames. The secret rays when meditated upon give to you heightened sensitivity. Five physical senses cannot in any way give to you the full experience of God.

"Those five senses, so-called, are in actuality apertures for infinite awareness leading to the perception, the feeling, the penetration of the very nuances of God’s consciousness by degree. And this soul sensitivity is centered in the seat-of-the-soul chakra.

"Would you feel the cosmic rays of the stars? Would you know the vibration of Sirius? You can. I say, you can if you will, but love must purge you of grossness, of cruelty in the spoken word. Love must purge you of those receptors that still hear the demons of the night and their vanity and their profane words. Love must purge you and silence all dissonance in your consciousness. Love that glows as a fire, for what? For God, God, God! Love that is a fire for friend and neighbor and for the child that is not seen."

"Pressing your precious feet—disciple’s feet—within the master blueprint of the inner walk with God, you can attune to the meditations of the Saviour’s heart, to his communion with angels, their songs of comfort and praise when no praise or comfort were forthcoming, even from his own.

"Would you learn to listen with the sole of your feet? Blessed hearts, every part of the mystical body of God within you contains the elements of every other part. Yes, you can listen to the heartbeat of Mother Earth through the sole of the feet. Yes, you can sense the Homeward path and follow it—blindfolded, if necessary—because of the sensitivity of the points of the five secret rays within you: the precious hands that extend healing, love, comfort; and the sign of the Word incarnate, the precious feet; and the eighth chakra of the secret chamber of the heart where thou art, I pray, with thy God as Father, Mother, Son, and Holy Spirit."

"I come, therefore, standing on the six o'clock line of your individual Cosmic Clock, and I direct your attention toward the reality which I now reveal to you, that for many the difficulty to move beyond the first seven rays into the initiations of the Eighth Ray and [of] the Eighth Ray chakra, [which is] the secret chamber of the heart, has been and remains an insurmountable difficulty.

"I come, therefore, wielding this sword for the binding of those barriers self-imposed [as well as those] superimposed by fallen angels, all of whom are alien to the mansions of God. This stumbling block, therefore, between that [six o'clock] line and the entering in [by the sons and daughters of God] to the center of Being by means of the eightfold, eight-petaled chakra must be removed by Divine Intercession.

"I AM that Intercessor by the grace of God.

"Now manifesting with me you see suspended Five Dhyani Buddhas—[five] Buddhas bearing [sacred] fire of secret ray, Buddhas wielding sword of secret ray. Therefore, beloved, they stand and wait as initiators at the half hours of seven, eight, nine, ten and eleven [on the Cosmic Clock]."

"Consider the five secret rays embodied by the Five Dhyani Buddhas and their relationship to the five physical senses. Through these rays you can develop a keen sensitivity. You have spiritual senses, beloved, and you can refine them, especially when you are in the company of individuals of a rare kindness, a rare soul beauty and a rare compassion.

"Attempt this refinement, beloved. Attempt to convey the greatest sweetness to one another as fellow disciples on the Path. Let that sweetness melt all hardness of heart, for many hold on to their hardness of heart because the soul has gone through intense travail in a past life, an intensity so great that her hardness of heart has become a shell of protection. And sometimes, even though you have been on the spiritual path for some time, you forget to unwind the coils of hardness of heart in which you have encased yourselves."

The five poisons and the sixth, which must be antidoted by the five wisdoms of the Five Dhyani Buddhas and the wisdom of Vajrasattva:


1. Ignorance, antidoted by Vairochana’s All-Pervading Wisdom of the Dharmakaya.

2. Anger, hate and hate creation, antidoted by Akshobhya’s Mirrorlike Wisdom.

3. Spiritual, intellectual and human pride, antidoted by Ratnasambhava’s Wisdom of Equality.

4. The passions—all cravings, covetousness, greed and lust —antidoted by Amitabha’s Discriminating Wisdom.

5. Envy and jealousy, antidoted by Amoghasiddhi’s All-Accomplishing Wisdom, the Wisdom of Perfected Action.

6. Non-Will and non-Being—fear, doubt and nonbelief in God, the Great Guru—antidoted by Vajrasattva’s Wisdom of the Diamond Will of God.

Enter the 'Caves' of the Dhyani Buddhas—
By Appreciation, Love and the Wavelength of the Emerald Ray

"It is the hour of the melting of the elements with the fervent heat of the Divine Love of the Buddha of the Ruby Ray and all manifestations, replications, of the Five Dhyani Buddhas.

"I come to you this hour escorting your soul from the place of the Divine Mother to the secret chamber of the heart, the eight-petaled chakra. Let us steal inside and abide.

" . . . Thus, I take you through these rays by an appreciation of the heart—the appreciation of the heart: the sensitivity, the profound love. For only Love enables you to pass through the walls of the crystal Ruby Ray that is indeed the lining of the caves of the Dhyani Buddhas, caves of Light. Thus Buddhic path of Saint Germain is also revealed.

"The Maha Chohan has called me for a ministration of Love whereby you might pursue a discipleship under the Third Ray unto the Ruby Ray Buddha . . .

"The ideal purpose of my coming is the use of the emerald crystal to direct to your hearts and specifically to the eight petals of the eight-petaled chakra that wavelength of the emerald ray, beloved, whereby there is established the forcefield for the precipitation of the chalice for the Buddha of the heart. Thus, as you continue the mantra, the mantra of Padma Sambhava, so I shall extend now that action.

" . . . beloved, be receptive to the action of this Fifth Ray that does unlock, petal by petal, the means whereby the door shall be opened to you unto the chambers of the Five Dhyani Buddhas. By the Love of the beings of the Third Ray, so receive this action.

"Om Ah Hum Vajra Guru Padma Siddhi Hum [59 times]

"Ribbons of emerald light punctuate Eightfold Path etched in the petals of the heart . . .

"O Kuan Yin is so near as the Mother Flame of this Communion, beloved, as the Mother representative of these Buddhas, even as the Lord the Maha Chohan does minister to you now through our servants."

With Ratnsambhva on Our 9:30 Line

Ratnasambhava transmutes the poison of pride (spiritual, intellectual and human pride) into the Wisdom of Equality. Tibetan Buddhists teach that with the Wisdom of Equality one sees all things with divine impartiality and recognizes the divine equality of all beings. One sees all beings and the Buddha as having the same nature . . .

He is sometimes shown holding his symbol, the ratna (jewel) or chintamani (wish-fulfilling jewel that grants all right desires). The chintamaniis a symbol of the liberated mind.

Ratnasambhava’s throne is upheld by a horse, denoting impetus and liberation. His mudra is the varada mudra. It is the gesture of giving, or charity, which portrays him offering compassion and protection to his disciples. His bija is Tram and his mantra is Om Ratnasambhava Tram.

Ratnasambhava says, “O blessed ones, God has so valued each one that to each one he has given the very image of himself, the I AM Presence, the Holy Christ Self, in whose image you are made. Find the jewel, find the jewel. Find the Sangha, find the Buddha, find the Dharma, all locked within the inner divine spark.”

After seven successive 14-month cycles of initiation through the seven outer spheres of the Causal Body (white through blue), Serapis Bey announced on February 28, 1987, the inauguration of the first of five 14-month cycles in the five secret rays. The 14-month cycle in the sphere of the Second Secret Ray began April 25, 1988; the 14-month cycle in the sphere of the Third Secret Ray was initiated on July 4, 1989.

Serapis Bey has explained that the goal of each 14-month cycle is for you as a disciple of Jesus Christ and Gautama Buddha to pass through the 14 stations of the Aquarian cross of the Woman and her seed (Rev. 12:4, 5, 17). The 14 stations of the Aquarian cross provide a path of initiation for the Divine Mother and her sons and daughters that is parallel to the 14 stations of the Piscean cross fulfilled by Jesus. The stations signify the 14 events that occurred in Jesus’ life during his Passion on Good Friday from 1. Jesus is condemned to death to 14. Jesus is laid in the sepulchre. They represent not only the testings and trials of the chelas of the Ascended Masters but also the personal and planetary karma that Lightbearers are bearing in their bodies in this transition from the 2,000-year dispensation of Pisces to Aquarius.

In order to deal scientifically with these challenges, which come to us daily, students of the Ascended Masters chart the 14 stations on the Cosmic Clock according to the principles of cosmic astrology taught to the Messenger Elizabeth Clare Prophet by Mother Mary. Thus, each month during Serapis Bey’s 14-month cycle, the chela is working on one of the 14 stations corresponding to one line of the Cosmic Clock. The 1st station is charted on the 12:00 line (or 12:00/6:00 axis), the 2nd on the 1:00 line (or 1:00/7:00 axis), etc. The 13th station is clocked on the 12:00 line (or 12:00/6:00 axis) and the 14th station on the 6:00 line (or 6:00/12:00 axis).

If you were not aware of Serapis Bey’s 14-month cycles of initiation or feel you have not taken the greatest advantage of the opportunity they afford those on the path of the ascension under the hierarchs of the Ruby Ray, you can ask the hierarchies of Light to give you, according to the will of God and the discriminating intelligence of your Holy Christ Self, the initiations of each sphere. Thus in your calls and invocations to God and your decrees to the ascended hosts of the Lord as well as in your daily service to life at home or on the job, you would be spending 14 months in each sphere of the Causal Body, one at a time, starting with the center white sphere and proceeding outward through each successive sphere. You would be taking these beginning initiations simultaneously with the initiations of the current 14-month cycle—but only one missed 14-month cycle at a time along with the current cycle, beginning with the earliest one missed. For instance, someone just starting would begin with the current Third Secret Ray cycle and the first cycle through the white sphere of the Causal Body.

The seven rays and the initiations of the Lords of the Seven Rays are charted consecutively on the Alpha cycle of the Cosmic Clock on the 12/6 (First Ray), 1/7 (Second Ray), 2/8 (Third Ray), 3/9 (Fourth Ray), 4/10 (Fifth Ray), 5/11 (Sixth Ray), and 6/12 (Seventh Ray) axes. Padma Sambhava, the sponsoring Buddha of Guru Ma, a title and office held by Elizabeth Clare Prophet, is positioned to initiate the chelas of the Divine Mother on the 6:30/12:30 axis for the transition between the outer seven rays and the inner five secret rays. The five secret rays and the initiations of the Five Dhyani Buddhas are mastered on the Omega cycle of the Cosmic Clock on the half-hour positions of the 7:30/1:30 (First Secret Ray), 8:30/2:30 (Second Secret Ray), 9:30/3:30 (Third Secret Ray), 10:30/4:30 (Fourth Secret Ray), and 11:30/5:30 (Fifth Secret Ray) axes.

Each hour on the Cosmic Clock has an Alpha Thrust and an Omega Return. The first half-hour of the hour is the Alpha (plus, or yang) half of the hour; the second half of the hour is the Omega (minus, or yin) half of the hour. The initiations of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are on the Alpha Thrust and the initiations of the Buddha and the Mother are on the Omega Return. Through these initiations the soul goes forth from the Great Central Sun at the Alpha Thrust and gains experience in the Matter universes. On the Omega Return the soul reenters the Causal Body and returns through the ritual of the ascension to the heart of God in the Great Central Sun.

The entire current 14-month cycle of Serapis Bey in the Third Secret Ray (midpoint of the five secret rays) is charted on the Omega cycle, the half hour, of the 9:00 line (i.e., 9:30), which is in polarity with the Omega cycle of the Fourth Ray on the 3:00 line (i.e., 3:30).

Third Secret Ray Sphere of Serapis Bey's 14-Month Cycle

On November 4 we enter the next Serapis Bey 14-month cycle. As you recall, these cycles of initiation take us through the 7 outer spheres and the 5 secret-ray spheres of the causal body.

In the new cycle we will be initiated in the third secret-ray sphere, charted on the 9:30 line of the cosmic clock. The sponsor of the third secret ray is the Dhyani Buddha Ratnasambhava. He transmutes the poison of pride—spiritual, intellectual and human pride—into the Wisdom of Equality. This cycle continues until January 3, 2007.

Mother has explained that the five secret rays give us our most difficult and intricate initiations: "The intricacy of detail, of fact, of figuring, of planning—it is like figuring out a very complex formula in order to get through to the next level of being." She has also said that when these cycles come about there is the greatest upheaval, the greatest breaking down and building again. It is the tearing down of what has not been properly built in the seven color bands of the causal body. It is a time of sifting.

In 1987, Serapis Bey spoke of the secret ray cycles:

"Whether it be of nuclear energy, whether it be of the economy,.those things that come full circle in these eras have in past times not been met by victory by the majority. These next five years and more will be of the greatest testing to the nation, to its government, and to its people. It is a time to be prepared, and to endure—and to know a new age, a new world, a new consciousness."

Gautama Buddha, in Quietly Comes the Buddha, relates the ten perfections and their initiations to the secret rays. The perfections of the third secret ray are Courage (masculine aspect) and Patience (feminine aspect). Gautama tells us that one aspect of courage is "the flame of endurance—enduring through the night, overcoming the greatest of all foes that is fear." *

Ratnasambhava's mantra is Om Ratnasambhava Tram.

The mantra for the entire 14-month cycle is

Fourth Secret-Ray Sphere

On January 4 we enter the next Serapis Bey 14-month cycle. As you may recall, these cycles of initiation take us through the 7 outer spheres and the 5 secret-ray spheres of the causal body.

In the new cycle we will be initiated in the fourth secret-ray sphere, charted on the 10:30 line of the cosmic clock. The sponsor of the fourth secret ray is the Dhyani Buddha Amitabha. He transmutes the poison of the passions—all cravings, covetousness, greed and lust—into Discriminating Wisdom. This cycle continues until March 4, 2008.

Fifth Secret-Ray Sphere

On March 3, 2008 we enter the next Serapis Bey 14-month cycle. As you may recall, these cycles of initiation take us through the 7 outer spheres and the 5 secret-ray spheres of the causal body.

In the new cycle we will be initiated in the fifth secret-ray sphere, charted on the 11:30 line of the cosmic clock. The sponsor of the fifth secret ray is the Dhyani Buddha Amoghasiddhi. He transmutes the poison of envy and jealousy, antidoted by Amoghasiddhi’s All-Accomplishing Wisdom, the Wisdom of Perfected Action. This cycle continues until May 3, 2009.

* The above estimated dates of the fourteen-month cycles are tentative, as without the acting Messenger one is hardly able to be accurate in charting these cycles. Though they are meant to cover fourteen months, historically—since the first cycle beginning December 21, 1978—there were several cycles, which did not last the "prescribed" 14 calendar months. One example of "irregularity" in the fourteen month cycles is, that we would have arrived at the dates only including the 21st and 20th of the given month beginning and ending consecuctive cycles.
