"Each niche in Hierarchy, each office of Christ must be filled.
And each office may become a mandala of many, yet singularly filled
by the one if necessary. Some of you have held the heart of the
daisy waiting for the petals to form. Others have magnetized numbers
yet not quality. As you send forth, so you draw in; this is the
line of the fisherman. Send forth the quality of heart and you
will assemble heart-quality chelas. Thus we look to the one who
may fulfill the office of Christ for each facet of the divine
plan.
"I speak, then, of a company of Lightbearers
already gathered here and in other parts of the world, a very
different formula of the causal body of God than we saw twenty-five
years ago. Some who have been among you have ascended and others,
keeping the flame, toiling in the night, victorious in the day,
are determined that your Victory shall be physical every step
of the way! I commend you, beloved hearts; for physical victories
are the most difficult. And I recommend [that you make the call
to Sanat Kumara that this company of Lightbearers shall bring
into an organized, physical manifestation a single idea for
the cosmic good and the commonweal and rejoice in that Victory."
"The Ascended Masters teach that Gautama Buddha was
the first disciple to respond to the flame of Sanat Kumara
on Earth and that Maitreya was the second.
"Sanat Kumara came to Earth from
Venus long ago in Earth’s darkest hour to keep the
threefold flame of Life on behalf of her people, when
the Cosmic Council had determined that no further opportunity
should be given to humanity—so great was their departure
from cosmic law and their desecration of Life.
"One hundred and forty-four thousand
souls from Venus volunteered to come to Earth with Sanat
Kumara to support his mission. Four hundred who formed
the avant-garde were sent on ahead to build the magnificent
retreat of Shamballa on an island in the Gobi Sea (where
the Gobi desert now is).
"Assuming the office of Lord of
the World, Sanat Kumara resided in this physical retreat
but he did not take on a physical body such as the bodies
we wear today. Later it became expedient to its protection
that Shamballa be withdrawn from the physical plane to
the etheric octave. After this took place, Sanat Kumara
embodied as none other than Dipankara, the Lamp-lighting
Buddha.
"In Buddhist tradition, Dipankara
walked the earth to save souls and prophesied that the
ascetic Sumedha would become the future Buddha Gautama.
Dipankara (literally 'kindler of lights') is believed
to have been the first of twenty-four Buddhas who preceded
Gautama. He is portrayed together with Gautama and Maitreya
as one of the Buddhas of 'the three times'
—past, present and future.
"Gautama was Dipankara’s
student before his incarnation as Prince Siddhartha when
he became the Buddha. He and Maitreya spent time between
embodiments at Shamballa and received training there,
both when it was physical and after it was removed to
the etheric plane.
...
"This congruency of light comes through the
capstone and the all-seeing Eye; and it can take
place only in those who have at inner levels received
this initiation long before coming to earth of the
oneness with the inner teachers and the emissaries
with the Lord.
"There be some then in the earth who become
instantaneously by the Holy Spirit transparencies
for angels of light. And you are most comfortable
as you function not alone but as very bands of angels
for whom you individually become the focalpoint.
" . . . And some will keep
the flame in the outer retreat and some will keep
the flame in the Inner Retreat. Thus it is a matter
of initiation and transmutation and the divine plan
which was from the beginning.
"Thus the Great Divine Director stands with
me, encircling the earth in circles of fire and
rings of light. And I come now before you to administer
this light.
" . . . Now, hosts of the
Lord, come from on high. Lead them all the way Home.
Lead them into the very heart of Life. Lead them
into the very heart of the ascension spiral.
"I AM sending now the light of the violet flame.
I AM sending forth the light of the ruby ray. I
AM sending forth the light of the eternal rose of
the heart. Let therefore the light of all these
who are the descendants of Abraham and of the Ancient
of Days come forth.
"Lo, I AM. Lo, I AM THAT I
AM. I AM the continuing Word of prophecy fulfilled
within my Messenger and within you all.
"Lo, I AM setting the boundaries of my habitation
in the earth. Lo, I AM appointing my boundaries.
"Lo, I AM setting my seal upon those who are
the called.
"Lo, I AM sending forth the whitefire for the
all-consuming light of those who have moved against
me and my representatives in the earth. For it is
the acceleration of the cycle unto the victory.
' . . . Lo, I AM with you alway, even unto the end
of the cycles of the Nephilim*, for their cycles
are come to an end. Lo, the LORD GOD hath pronounced
it. Lo, let there be the staying and the enduring
unto the end of the very disintegration of the remainder
of their human creation. For lo, the Word has gone
forth!

lo, it is sealed. Lo, the Holy Spirit is come unto

*Nephilim: (Hebrew: 'those who fell' or 'those who
were cast down') a biblical race of giants of demigods
(Gen. 6:4). According to scholar Z. Sitchin ancient
Sumerian tablets depict the Nephilim as an extraterrestrial
superrace who 'fell' to earth in spacecraft 450,000
years ago. The ascended masters reveal that the
Nephilim are the fallen angels cast out of heaven
into the earth. (Rev. 12).

"In the sacred mystery
of the crystal then you discover the meaning of the
power of the name. Unto the Lord Jesus Christ there
was given the name Maitreya, Gautama, Sanat Kumara
and even of the other Holy Kumaras. And therefore
he bade the disciples that whatsoever they should
ask the Father in his name it would be granted.
"This came, my beloved, at the end of the mission
when truly his sacred heart contained the fullness
of that point of light of the convergence of golden-ratio
spirals ascending and descending. Therefore the name
Jesus Christ—through the name Sanat Kumara as
an engram of the crystal of the Ancient of Days—becomes
the sign and the power and the means whereby many
are saved. They are saved because of the cosmic connection
of the very descent of Hierarchy."

" . . . And only if there be established a
body of God upon Earth who will not compromise this
our devotion, this our energy, can we continue to
serve the planet Earth.
"And as this matter has been discussed in other
councils of the Hierarchy since the turn of the
year it has been the conclusion of the Great White
Brotherhood that if and when the time comes when
all upon Earth compromise truth, then Hierarchy
will be obliged to withdraw. And only as long as
there is established an order and a focal point
of purity, of uncompromising devotion, unflinching
discipline can we continue to pour our love to the
Earth. For Hierarchy will not desecrate the flow
of God's light by giving onto those who take that
light and spend it upon their lusts.
" . . . Hierarchy is
grateful. Hierarchy sends forth greetings to the
faithful. Hierarchy has spoken."

The Office of Chela Waits
"I would speak to you, then,
of your office of chela.
"The office of chela we diagram
on the Chart as the lower figure. The chela is the
one in whom there blazes a literal furnace of violet
flame as is depicted—one striving on the Path,
one who is dedicated to make his temple the temple
of the living God, and of the Father, the Mighty
I AM Presence, and of the Son descending.
"The chela is the striving
one.
"Thus, we consider all who
defend our Teaching and our Messenger and who are
faithful in the service we have outlined to be a
part of that level and that hierarchy. The office
waits and you may so qualify yourself by intense
calls to the violet flame and the will of God and
the request that you have revealed to you what are
those things which must shortly be passed into the
flame for you to know the true protection of the
mantle of chela.
"Blessed ones, the chela
is striving on the path of personal Christhood.
And when that Christhood is bestowed, then he wears
the mantle not only of the chela or disciple but
also of his own Holy Christ Self.
"The chela, before becoming
that Shepherd, does become-on occasion, from time
to time, and often—the vessel of his Christ
Self. By and by, as this becomes a perpetual vigil
of the hours, the mantle descends and the Christ
does not leave that one, even if that one may temporarily
lose his balance or become out of alignment.
"You see, an office, once
granted by the Lord God, is not withdrawn as one
would snatch from you a cape, then drop it again,
then snatch it again. This is not the way of the
Great White Brotherhood. When we see fit to bestow
the mantle of chela, we stand by that chela.
"Thus, not all who are students
of ours do we count as chelas. For a chela is someone
with whom we share our very life and breath. Thus,
a relationship of trust must be established.
Passing the Initiation of the
Office of Christ
"In the same manner, the
one who has been seen consistently to strive to
outpicture that Christhood does eventually, by initiation
of Maitreya and Jesus and his own Christ Self, attain
to a certain equilibrium in the manifestation of
Christhood—not giving us the ups and downs
of inconstancy, not being here one day and there
another.
"Thus, the passing of initiation
in each office is required. And thus, you see that
the Christed ones must also be equal to the task
of bearing that Christ Light.
"Beloved hearts, this office
of Christ formerly occupied by your Messengers and
still occupied by your Messengers is the true assignment
of yourselves. You, the direct initiates of our
call, are expected not to remain chelas forever—forever
seeking the Truth but never coming to the knowledge
of that Truth, to borrow a phrase from the apostle.
"Chelaship may be comfortable
because the chela may yet depend upon the Christed
One or the Master. I admonish you that those who
have our direct word and blessing must strive not
only to rise but to pull down the full power of
the office of Christhood.
"When you, therefore, are
initiated directly by me through the Messenger,
it is a goad to compel you to a higher consciousness,
to the Mind of Christ—to the strength of that
Mind, to the love of that Mind, to the wisdom and
the courage of that Presence!
"You may also receive chelaship
from the teachings and from one another, but the
action of initiation to Christhood must come from
the embodied Witness.
The Office of the I AM Presence
and the Mantle of Guru
"Now, with the mantle of the Guru Sanat Kumara
placed upon this Messenger by Padma Sambhava, the
Messenger has been required to occupy and hold the
office at all times of the I AM Presence. For to
have one holding that Word, I AM THAT I AM, in embodiment
is the absolute requirement and necessity for the
sustainment of an outer activity of the Great White
Brotherhood. And this mantle and office did beloved
Mark occupy and own before his ascension, and does
he still own in this hour.
"Now, beloved hearts, for
want of those who desire to excel-with all of the
challenges that this acceleration compels—to
the level of the Christ, you see, the Messenger
must descend the spiral staircase of the lighthouse
tower and position herself in the office of Christ
on behalf of the community. This produces in itself
a certain stress and strain for all concerned. For
although we desire to release the Light of the Summit
from the I AM Presence, yet the Messenger must function
at the level of your Christhood-for want of understanding
or realization or whatever the cause may be that
you yourselves do not take that position.
"Thus, beloved hearts, the
Christed ones of this organization—and there
is no limit to that number that ought to be Christed
ones—should be known as the shepherds of the
people, as the ministering servants.
"And they should have developed
within their hearts the discrimination (that faculty
for decision making) to implement right action not
only for themselves but for their departments and
areas of service. This discrimination and dependability
allows the Messenger to perform the necessary work
for you and the world from the level of the I AM
Presence. And this is how hierarchy ought to be
counted in this order.
"Beloved Kuthumi has called
you to the Order of the Brothers and Sisters of
Francis and Clare. Understand that striving in this
order, whether through the path of the brahmacharya
or the path of the householder and the family member,
must be pursued with the goal in mind of the attainment
of the mantle of Christ—of the 'occupying
till I come.' Do you understand?
"When the Masters descend
to the level of Christ, then, you see, your office
is fulfilled in heaven and on earth. When you present
to God a magnet of the Christ consciousness as a
community, then you draw down the Universal Christ
in the Ascended Masters.
"It is necessary, then, that
the decision-making process, the listening to the
Word, the execution of the Word, the action of the
Word become the goal of those chelas striving to
move from their centeredness in the violet-flame-transmutation
level to the point of personal Christhood.
"The Christ is the Word incarnate
within you! The Christ is your Real Self! Thus,
you must resist the temptation to indulge the lesser
self that opposes that Light.
"Some prefer not to push.
Some prefer not to heave and ho and to strive. Some
yet prefer a comfortable niche of what they think
is chelaship—to find a nook and cranny and
to simply perform the tasks they are given and to
do what they are told.
"Beloved ones, it is wonderful
to have loyal and obedient servants, but this loyalty
and obedience must also include the understanding
that the office of chela embodies within it, by
definition, the one striving to become the Christ.
"Thus, it is a question of
looking at the goals of the world, what they are,
and seeing how people in the world become complacent.
When they own their own home and car, have a good
job, a few children, and so forth—whatever
they have envisioned-they usually rest at that point
and when you see them, they desire nothing more.
"Well, let us pray that that
complacency of the attainment of the visible goal
is not somehow transmitted to the chela, who then
thinks that because he is chela, he may enjoy a
life of a chela without further responsibility!
"I tell you as the Chohan
of the First Ray: You will one day lose the mantle
of chela if the very mantle itself is not employed
by you to divide the waters of the human consciousness,
to exorcise from you all that inhibits the manifestation
of your Christhood!
"Just as the Christed ones
are striving to be one with the Father and to embody
the I AM, so all who move forward in the scale of
hierarchy maintain their present office while striving
to embody the elements and the jewels of light of
the next.
"Thus is the link of hierarchy
sustained by those who have the capacity to live
in the present, to take dominion over the past and
past karma—personal and planetary—and
to live in the future, where they perceive and look
upon the goal daily and see themselves already robed
in white and reigning with the saints in heaven.
It is necessary to be able to face and to contain
the past, present, and future compartments of time
and space and thus to one day transcend them all
at the point of Infinity.
"Now, beloved hearts, let
us look at what the office of Guru, the office of
the one who must embody the I AM THAT I AM for the
community, does entail. The consciousness of the
I AM THAT I AM has been well described by the prophet
Habakkuk as the LORD God revealed it to him and
as he said, 'Thou art of too pure eyes to behold
iniquity.'
"The I AM Presence is the
Spirit of God immutable—absolute God-purity,
the absolute fount of the perception only of that
which is Real. It is therefore the office of the
Christ to behold Good and Evil both in the absolute
sense and in the relative sense, to counsel and
instruct you, and to send forth recommendations
to the heart of the Father for the release of Light
unto those striving ones below.
"Now, if the beings of Light
who surround God in the Great Central Sun did not
hold the immaculate concept, if the next rings of
Christed ones did not retain the perception of all
goings-on of the universe, then the central authority
of God Himself could not be sustained as the Knower
of the All and the One and the Light.
"The just judgments come
forth from that I AM THAT I AM because it is pure
Light. The one in embodiment holding that concept
of purity for you, for the earth, for the community—because
of that very concept and presence—can take
you on the journeys of initiation through the circle
of Light, can be the recipient of the transmission
of the Light of the Central Sun in the initiations
you receive, can give to you the living flame of
the altar of God that you absolutely require for
your ascension.
"If you will allow the Messenger
to fulfill that office, to deliver the Word, to
bring forth the Light directly from God for the
healing of the nations, then the earth shall truly
have a new dispensation of salvation through the
Great White Brotherhood. If you rise to the occasion
of the office of Christhood, all will go well.
Bearers of the Mantle Must Defend
the Church
"Now I would like to speak to you of the application
of that office as it pertains to such events as
the [media] attack upon the Church. It is the chelas
and the Christed ones who must guard the citadel,
who must protect Camelot and the Ranch, who must
take necessary action in counsel.
"It is not meet for the Messenger
to engage these adversaries on their own ground,
on their own terminology. The I AM Presence is not
on trial. Neither is the Guru. Neither is the Messenger.
They are on trial and they exhibit who and what
they are. And the authority of the Father for the
judgment of these fallen ones has eternally been
conveyed to the one who occupies the office of Christ.
Thus, the decrees have been given
that your Christ Self might enact that judgment.
Thus, you are the ones who move into action and
determine what actions must be taken for the defense
of the privilege of the earth to have access to
the Mighty I AM Presence through the office and
the mantle that we have instituted, which was instituted
by God before us.
The Messenger Lives in Deference
to the Mantle
"It is always true that the mantle is greater
than the person, but the person has the opportunity
to so identify with the mantle of the office as
to become the fullness of it and thereby to move
on in the chain of hierarchy. As this is true for
yourselves—the eternal hope of the open door,
the eternal freedom to pursue at your own pace the
initiations of Maitreya—so it is also open
to the Messenger.
"The setting forth of the
Law of the Lawgiver is also this office. Thus, our
dictations are not intended for those who are in
the world and who have not even approached the level
of being student. The setting forth of the Law and
the Light and the release of dispensations is absolutely
essential, and so is the stepping down and the interpretation
of that Word by the Holy Spirit through yourselves
to those who must have presented to them that which
they can take in of this Word.
"Now, in regard to this media
attack, the Messenger has informed you that according
to her office, she has neither viewed this television
series nor set eyes upon the newspapers that have
been published. For in the very midst of the fray,
she must hold that balance.
"Some have criticized her
or thought perhaps she was being an ostrich, burying
her head in the sand, not wanting to hear about
anything of a destructive nature. I can assure you
this is not a condition of the human consciousness,
but it is the protection of the mantle of the office
by its wearer, the wearer being obedient to our
request.
"This you may observe, therefore,
in the Messenger: that the life is lived in deference
to the mantle. And however much she may prefer to
do something another way, to befriend this individual
or that, it is the deference to the mantle, what
it allows—the deference to the mantle, seeing
to it that it is not trampled upon in incorrect
activity-that does guide her action.
"Thus, the keeping of the
mantle is the result of the effort of the one who
understands and feels the presence of the mantle
of the Great White Brotherhood and lives by its
Law. Thus may you be true to the mantle of chela
even before you receive it and therefore become
so worthy that it is almost perfunctory on graduation
day that the robe of the graduate becomes the mantle
of chela.
"It is the same for
those striving for the office of Christ. It is the
imitation of Christ, it is the practice of the Presence
of Christ that establishes in your life not only
the reverence for that mantle which is shortly coming
upon you, but also the respect for the officeholder
who does already wear the mantle."

with those who have greater light. But you must
stand in reverence of those who have such positions
in Hierarchy, and by their example and their attainment
know that you may go and do likewise. Therefore
seek not friendship with the ascended masters [at]
first but rather discipleship and chelaship.

we must convey a greater increment of sacred fire
to the lightbearers who have prepared the chalice
of the heart and the threefold flame; and these
shall truly be known as sons of God, men of the
Sun, women of the Sun, as Solomon was of that Sun.
" . . . Beloved children
of the Sun, you [who are my own] are witnesses on
this planetary body of the depravity and degradation
of life such as has been seen in the days of Atlantis,
and today [is] even worse than Atlantis. And I tell
you there are not many stars in the systems of worlds
where these conditions have [been] allowed to endure
to this extent."

The Walk to Become God
"I remember full well in my preaching at
Sarnath, no stupas were erected then to do me
honor, princeling though I was in outer measure.
The hearts of a world were waiting for that treasure
which I found within God. And the outer treasure
and principalities meant nothing to humanity,
for what was important then was the treasure of
the Spirit which I brought. And this treasure
I still offer to all of you who will grasp that
principle of cosmic learning within yourself.
"Those dimensions of heart
of which I speak are available to all who will
inwardly pursue the radiance of the way of peace.
But the peace is to be found in the divine nature.
And man does not need to part with it, saying
to himself, “I will sever myself from this
or that teaching, because I do not feel that this
or that teaching is truly cosmic truth.”
"Beloved hearts of light,
the kingdom of God is within you. When you really
understand that, the way of peace is known to
you and the adventure of living becomes more palatable—more
acceptable to your outer consciousness and, I
am quite sure, more acceptable to the Law of Love
that is a part of your inward nature, even as
it is the part of all mankind.
"But what a pity it
is that men are allowing themselves today to be
captivated by those who seek to divide men into
little camps of opposition. They cannot understand
the way of peace, the way of nirvana. They do
not understand the Be-ness of God, that God is
everywhere and that he dispenses those drops of
Life which are his reality as the golden oil of
the anointing of the One Spirit Most Holy which
all can receive because to all it is given—a
treasure of sweetness, a treasure of compassion
that reaches up magically enough, miraculously
enough, to participate in the grand adventure
of becoming one with God."

"A precious life-size statue of a crowned
Buddha, a gift of students of the Buddha and the
Mother, has graced our home and altar for many
a year. Draped in golden robes trimmed in ruby,
he is seated in a lotus posture, hands in the
anjali, or namaskara, mudra with palms and fingers
together at the level of the chest in the gesture
of supplication or reverence.
"Art connoisseurs who have
examined the statue have said that it may be a
representation of a Bodhisattva rather than a
Buddha because Buddhas are not usually presented
with a crown. But I can see in this Buddha at
once the sweetness of our beloved Gautama and
the kindness of Maitreya, the crowned Bodhisattva
become Buddha.
"We have always thought
of this statue as a portrayal of Gautama Buddha,
however. And for us the crown is apropos because
we acknowledge that Lord Gautama Buddha was crowned
Lord of the World on January 1, 1956. In like
manner we proclaim Maitreya as the Coming Buddha
who has come, as he did assume on the same day
the offices of Cosmic Christ and Planetary Buddha
vacated by Gautama.
"So whether you choose
to see in this statue the face of Gautama or Maitreya,
of Buddha or Bodhisattva smiling through, you
may happily find the oneness of the Guru and the
Chela."

"Dispense with the consciousness that you
are segmented in time and space! Dispense with
your concept of limitation! Go forth and be the
mighty conqueror! Be that conquering hero that
is the one who comes in the name of Maitreya and
put aside all former vestments and offices that
parallel those of the Four Horsemen. For those
who engage in the world and the world karma will
be overcome by that world karma, but those who
ride the bull as Buddha did unto the victory will
use the world karma as the means and the standing
and stepping ground unto the eternal victory that
is by the flame of the Spirit.
"Inspired by earlier Taoist
drawings, the twelfth-century Chinese master Kakuan
used the symbol of ten bulls (in illustration
and verse) to represent the ten successive steps
by which the initiate conquers and transcends
the lower nature to realize true identity:
"The Search for the Bull,
Discovering the Footprints, Perceiving the Bull,
Catching the Bull, Taming the Bull, Riding the
Bull Home, The Bull Transcended, Both Bull and
Self Transcended, Reaching the Source, In the
World.
"The messenger has
explained that the bull is the carnal mind and
dweller-on-the-threshold which must be slain before
one can become the Buddha. See Kakuan, '10 Bulls,'

"Let your grief, contrived by resistance
to the heart of the One, now be dispelled. And
let your fear inordinate, dwelling in dark corners
of the recesses of the mind, come out. For I,
Gautama, am here. I am with you and I draw my
solar ring around my sangha of disciples. And
all who are my disciples truly in word and deed,
in act and love, receive now the completion of
the circle of fire with my own heart.
"Therefore, no names will be named to be
included or excluded, for the number and the sign
of the disciple is the internal Word and its internalization
by the I AM. I understand who you are. Let those
who understand who I AM prove it therefore by
being as I AM.
"You may be like me without fear. I am not
some sort of mummy or cement statue, sterile and
silent. I move among the children of life, and
I am determined to fight a fairly good fight for
the victory of the Light in this nation and India
and in Russia and in every nation. For I have
hearts planted everywhere—and they are not
sleepers, but they are awake!
"For they have heard my call and they have
bestirred themselves. And they know my voice,
they know my message.
"And you would be amazed to understand the
path of the Buddha in this hour. For the ancient
texts do not reflect the ongoing manifestation
of my own Law of the One, for I AM WHO I AM. Let
none confine me, then!
"And all who are my disciples truly in word
and deed, in act and love, receive now the completion
of the circle of fire with my own heart . . .

"By losing yourself, out of love for Morya,
in the Divine Service (and I say the Divine Service
with a capital D and a capital S) you now find
yourself in the position of merit through meritorious
deeds. And thus you may write to Lord Gautama
saying in this wise:
"My beloved Lord and Guru of earth's
evolutions, please consider my application to
be your chela on the Path through Maitreya's Mystery
School that I, too, might achieve the place of
the bodhisattva on my first of the twelve lines
of the Cosmic Clock where my lifestream does show
acceleration, aptitude and a certain attainment.
"Therefore, my Lord, consider
this my plea and the offering of my lifestream
that I might become a chalice and day by day increase
[my momentum of Light on] the lines of [my Cosmic]
Clock, that I might carry your flame and therefore
be worthy to stand at your side when you petition
the Cosmic Council for dispensations for earth's
evolutions or the Lightbearers or another member
of Hierarchy.
"I submit this my application
and my proposal that I be taken on as a chela
under your office and in the heart of the Western
Shamballa, that thereby in so doing I might alleviate
planetary suffering and provide another reason
why the Lords of Karma and the Cosmic Council
might consider your prayers for the blessing of
mankind and the receipt of beneficent graces to
the benefit of earth's great goal [of freedom]
and the golden age of Aquarius.
"Thus, beloved, in
this way you properly state your desire [to be
the chela of Gautama Buddha and] the reasons for
your desire; and you may add to it the commitment
of a sound chelaship, keeping [and building upon]
that level of devotion to which you have now attained."

"When you meditate upon the world's problems
call to me for the solution. Then by your invocations
and decrees call to your Mighty I AM Presence and
Holy Christ Self to direct that very solution as
a matrix, as a sphere of light that contains the
inner logos for the absolute God-resolution [of
a specific problem]. Send these spheres of God-solution!
And let them be multiplied many times over. And
let them descend as mighty spheres of light over
an area where there is corruption, where there is
the slaughter of many, where there is starvation,
where there is politicking, and therefore the people
cannot move on with the agenda of their Holy Christ
Self.
"Why then take the long way around the Buddha's
belly? Why not invoke the full-gathered momentum
of all the causal bodies of all the beings of the
seventh ray and all other beings in heaven of the
violet flame and ask for it to rain [violet flame]
upon Earth for absolute God- purification of this
world, for the turning around of all those things
which are yet the portents [of prophecy]? . . .
Yes, beloved, bind Evil and the evil ramifications
portrayed and blown up in the media and on the sound
waves, and the people—at least a greater majority
of the people
—shall turn and serve their God! [28-second
standing ovation]
"Sweet ones of my heart, as I commune with
you in great tenderness so I feel the love that
is a part of you, that is the real you that is of
God. Sometimes this love has been bruised, sometimes
even broken as though your very heart should break
in two. Beloved ones, I AM the heart of all the
Buddhas. Take refuge in my heart..My heart is the
open door of bliss..Give the simple mantra om mani
padme hum. This wondrous mantra also known of Kuan
Yin celebrates your soul, your spirit, your Atman,
as the jewel in the heart of the lotus, the chakra
of the heart..
"Know this, o beloved ones: there comes a day—and
it is an exact moment and it is calculated
—when God and angels and ascended masters
have pursued the soul for the last time. Now the
soul must turn around and must chase after the great
ones who are dissolving into higher octaves. And
in order to be with them the soul must put on filigree
veil upon veil upon veil to mount the higher octaves.
And if she is not able, for she has not taken and
applied the Teaching, then the gates close, the
vision is gone, the higher octaves are sealed and
she wanders the earth again only God knows how many
lifetimes. Yes, beloved, it is my key announcement
to you today. I want you to live every day of the
rest of your life with the conviction that you have
but one life. Of this life you are certain, for
you are here and now in physical embodiment. You
cannot be certain of any other."

"Thus I come in the power of the Buddhas,
in the will of God. I come with protection and
I come with a perfect blueprint for the victory
of all souls who make up the Sangha of the Buddha,
worlds without end. I come, beloved, to tell you
that we are engaged in a war that is greater than
those wars which appear before you on the world
scene. For if you look at the big picture it is
always a question of the battle for the soul,
the battle for the mind, the battle for the heart.
"Thus do the the Three
Jewels (Buddha, Dharma and Sangha) provide the
antidote and thus do you see and know that God
will provide the way out. God indeed will provide
the way out, but you must find that way, you must
implement it and you must know that there are
many threads being drawn together to bring resolution
to an era of persecution not alone for this movement
but for religious movements in general and in
particular throughout the Earth. You must decree
that this persecution come to a halt. Give your
decrees to that end—for the arresting of
the spirals and the binding of all forces invisible
that would yet snuff out the opportunity for every
living soul to seek and find his God and attain
that union with his Lord Jesus Christ.
"Now then, beloved, know that if you are
not equipped to meet the challenge of the battle,
you must go and seek and find your weapon. But
know this: the greatest weapon is the weapon of
divine Love. Yes, seek and find the way out of
the dilemma of duality, but do not confine yourself
to one path or one segment of the path. For all
facets of the world's religions work together
when you seek and find the mystical (or inner)
path of the soul..
"I come then to deliver a cosmic spanking
unto all who have allowed themselves to be separated
one from the other through their self-righteousness
in matters of religious doctrine. This is not
the teaching of the saviours who have come from
God..I AM here this day and I ask you to purge
yourselves of your inner schisms, for thereby
you will purge yourselves of outer divisions that
divide and conquer. Accept one another for what
you are today as you move together striving for
a better tomorrow. There are battles that must
be won in this decade else they will continue
into the next century and on and on. The battle
for freedom of conscience and freedom of religion
must be fought and won. And the battle against
the abuse of the freedom of the press must also
be fought and won.
"This is my call to you, for the fallen ones
move on as they accrue power to themselves at
the expense of the little people and then abuse
the nations' resources. And blessed hearts, they
accrue that power that they might destroy any
individual or group who should challenge their
right and their authority to run the Earth under
a planetary dictatorship of the power elite. Mind
my Words, beloved. Be keen and alert and do not
fail to pray."

" . . . Thus understand the twelve gates
as twelve paths of initiation.
" . . . Yet, beloved, those
who should be your teachers have not upheld the
true calling within to present the truth no matter
what the cost.
" . . . As the cycles are
opened and the portals to the City (of Light of
Shamballa East and West), let all take the Science
of the Spoken Word, for it does necessitate a
giant leap when the hour is so short (due to world
karma) to come under the wings of the holy angels
and the I AM Presence.
"O blessed and most
holy God—God-flame within—as Above
so below let Thy oneness be declared!"

Lord Maitreya spoke tenderly of his
chelaship under Sanat Kumara in his dictation of December
4, 1980:
"There is a sphere of light within my own soul that
represents the path of my chelaship under the Lord Sanat
Kumara. Hand in hand Gautama and I would go through meadow
and forests, climbing to the heights of the Himalayas—not
in search but in surrender unto the Eternal Guru, the
Everlasting Star, that Light whom we knew as the very
Person of heartbeat.
"We would follow the beating of
our hearts to its logical conclusion in the heart of the
Ancient of Days where so many devotees have found succor
and a flame and the place of rest in preparation for going
out once again on the path of initiation—that is,
initiation according to this world and all that it contains—[that
comes about through the encounter with] the crosscurrents
of lifestreams and races and fallen ones and types of
personalities that are the antithesis of the Godhead."
In a ceremony held at the Royal Teton
Retreat on January 1, 1956, Gautama succeeded
Sanat Kumara in the office of Lord of the World and Maitreya
succeeded Gautama in the office of Cosmic Christ and Planetary
Buddha. Lord Maitreya passed the mantle of World Teacher
to the candidates for that office, Jesus Christ and Kuthumi,
who, as I have said, are Buddhas in their own right.
When Sanat Kumara placed his mantle
on Gautama Buddha as Lord of the World, he assumed the
title of Regent Lord of the World. Sanat Kumara then returned
to planet Venus and his twin flame, Lady Master Venus,
who had held the flame on Venus during his absence.
In a dictation given May 25, 1975, Lady
Master Venus announced that as Sanat Kumara had kept the
Flame for Earth, she had now come on a special mission
to 'tarry for a time on Terra' to 'dedicate anew the fires
of the Mother.'
Sanat Kumara announced on December 15,
1985, 'the opening of the door of the Temple of the Divine
Mother and her Inner Retreat' in the etheric octave over
the entire area of the Royal Teton Ranch. In that hour
Lady Venus positioned herself in this 'vast center of
Light' that had been 'prepared over aeons.'
Since that time Sanat Kumara has come
in several dictations to anchor his presence in our midst
and has promised that he and Lady Master Venus would stay
with Earth until the plan of God is fulfilled.
Speaking of his office of Cosmic Christ,
Lord Maitreya said in his March 24, 1974 dictation, 'I
focus the consciousness of the Cosmic Christ for every
particle of matter.' On July 1, 1978, the Ascended Lady
Master Portia defined the office of Cosmic Christ as 'the
very embodiment of the combined momentum of the Christ
consciousness of every individual soul evolving in the
Matter cosmos.'

"I AM Maitreya. I AM on the cross of Cosmic
Christ awareness; that is my position in hierarchy.
Would you also define your position in hierarchy?
"You are hierarchy where
you are. You are a link in the chain of cosmic
consciousness, and through you pass the energies
of life from higher evolutions to lesser evolutions.
As you fulfill your role as a dispenser of cosmic
light, souls are nourished on the path.
"It is a fact of life and
of hierarchy that unless you, the hierarch, rise
in the higher arch of being, souls dependent upon
you karmically and by their dharma and their solar
blueprint will not rise.
"Do you wonder why the teeming
masses of Terra do not rise? Do you wonder why
they are in rebellion and why they organize revolutions
against the elite?
"You see, within their souls
they realize that those who are above them in
the social strata are responsible for keeping
open the way of life. You must be the open door
that no man can shut. You must be the open door
whereby others who are dependent upon your flame,
your God-realization, might also initiate spirals
of creativity and realize their awareness of God.
" . . . Why do you not hear
of hierarchy and of the Ascended Masters and the
masterful beings who administer to life on Terra
and in these systems of worlds?
"You do not hear of hierarchy
because those in control of government and religion
and science have denied hierarchy—the passing
of the torch from generation to generation, from
ascended beings to unascended beings.
"Therefore, on this darkened
star there is a blockage of the energies of flow,
with the consequent disintegration, disease and
death, dying, despair and despondency. This is
the result of mankind’s loss of contact
with the inner flame and the inner guru, the loss
of contact with the hierarchy of light.
"Understand that when you
break the chain of hierarchy, you cut the tie
to the Sun behind the sun. You cut off the flow
of a cosmos; and the energies must circumvent
that flame, that presence, that planetary orb.
They move on in the cosmic scheme, contacting
only those souls who are part of this chain of
cosmic consciousness.
"You are all a part of hierarchy
if you will only think so, for you have your respective
positions in your family, in your schools, in
your businesses, in your professions and you are
aware of those who excel in the way you have chosen
and you are aware of your own excellence. You
are aware of talents that you can impart to others,
talents that must be refined and perfected before
they can be passed on. This is your rightful responsibility
in the demonstration of the sacred labor.
"We see, then, that the
guillotine itself has been used for the decapitation
of hierarchy. “Off with their heads”
cries the mob, and so the heads come rolling down.
The cutting off of the head is the cutting off
of opportunity for the realization of God-consciousness
in the crown, in the third eye and in the throat
chakra. It is the denial of God-reality, 'As above,
so below.' It is the cutting off of the leadership
of the individual and of society.
"Thus, when mankind take
the law of equality and misuse it, they destroy
hierarchy. Indeed it is true that all men and
women are created equal, but equality ceases the
moment the individual begins the exercise of free
will. By free will the flame is manifest as vice
or virtue, as the highest or the lowest potential
of man and woman.
"Therefore you are not equal
in attainment in this moment. You are not equal
in the cycles of God-realization. You are not
equal in the application of the flame or in your
talents or in their realization, and if you were,
how monotonous life would be!
"There is no such thing
as equality, for hierarchy is the ladder of cosmic
consciousness wherein all the sons and daughters
of God assume their position and their role as
instruments for the release of a facet of the
Mind of God. When a society ceases to pattern
its laws and its institutions after the laws of
hierarchy, when all is at the level of the masses,
then the opportunity to be a link in the chain,
to be an individual God flame, is no more.
"This is the depression
of the soul, when the soul realizes that its opportunity
for the individualization of the God flame in
hierarchy has been cut off by the state, by the
church, by the economy, by the laws, by systems
of taxation, by systems contrived by a humanitarian
consciousness that seeks the values of humanism
and a humanistic ideal.
"Mankind must base its society
not on man but on God and God-realization. Mankind
must center hierarchy, initiation and attainment
not in the human ideal but in the divine ideal,
for the divine ideal is the cause behind the effect
of the human ideal.
"Therefore society, if it
is to be a golden-age society, must return to
the level of the understanding of hierarchy wherein
the initiates of the Buddha and the Christ are
given the right to rule. Those who manifest the
law of cosmic consciousness have the right—the
divine right
—to declare, 'I AM the law! I AM the Word
incarnate!' This is the divine right of kings
and queens.
"Who are the kings and queens?
"Those who have raised the
energies of Father and of Mother to the perfect
balance of the life force.
"Who are the priests and
priestesses?
"Those who have tended the
altars of the hearts of humanity. Those who have
kept the flame of life on behalf of their sisters
and brothers on the path. These have the right
to minister unto the flock, to break the bread
and offer the communion cup. Not the charlatans,
not the wolves in sheep’s clothing who have
studied and taken their courses in the schools
of philosophy and theology, who come to pursue
the profession as a trade, as a means of livelihood
instead of as the calling of the Holy Spirit.
"Who are they who have the
right to be called the scientists of the age?
Who are they who have the right to hold in their
hands life and death?
"Those who have mastered
the flame of precipitation, who come forth as
alchemists of the sacred fire, who have proven
their responsibility to work with nuclear energies
and spiritual energies and the energies of life
in the heart of the atom and in the heart of the
I AM Presence.
"To whom have you entrusted
the secrets of science? Who holds the power to
unleash nuclear warfare in our society? Those
who have attainment or the madmen who come again
from Atlantis and Lemuria, who reinstate themselves
in the seat of authority in institutions of science
and at the heads of government and who become
the demigods?
"Mankind worship the
scientists instead of the flame and do not recognize
the irresponsibility of those who experiment with
energies and release the by-products of nuclear
fission into the body of the earth to pollute
the planes of Mater."

In the Hour of Need, I Will Come
"The world need is great.
The assistance of every devotee is the need of
this moment. Regardless of the measure of your
service or your capacity to understand, there
are things that you can do and services that you
can render in the moment of need.
"When we rally to world
need, it is a response to millions! Can you not
rally to the assistance of the few who may be
beneath the scrutiny of your mortal eyes? Can
you not be lightshowers and wayshowers right where
you are? Just as you trust in us, so do we trust
in you. And the concept of that must tonight be
communicated to your hearts.
"It is not enough for divine
grace to flow forth to hearts that are unable
to translate divine grace into a cogent reality.
Understanding must be had by men who possess but
little. And if, as you say, it goes over their
heads, dear hearts, how can they know?
"They have been literally
doused with the vibratory action of human error
put forth in the name of religion. Their hungry
hearts are not always able to discern just what
is acting; and in a sense of fear, they frequently
hesitate to leave that which has given them some
measure of comfort, desiring to clasp the hand
of that which seems to be real. For they have
not yet discerned the course of error and how
it runs as an unfortunate thread through civilization
in its long trek
and search for the reality of Truth.
"We do not chastise, but
we say to you that there is a need for a tangible
contact within the precinct of individuals right
where they are! There is a need for a contact
point that individuals can see. And thus did the
Word go forth through that blessed Christ Jesus:
Ye are a city set on a hill that cannot be hid.
[Matt. 5: 14-18]
"To you there is now
tossed out, into the field, the ball of cosmic
grace with which you must run."

Lord Maitreya gave to the world an understanding
of his office as Cosmic Christ in his October 14, 1973
dictation:
"I represent to you Father when you are reaching
up to become the Christ. And when you become the Christ,
I represent to you Brother in Christ. And when you are
seeking to raise up the Feminine Ray, then I provide the
complement to that Feminine Ray as the action of the Holy
Spirit. And when you manifest the Holy Spirit, then I
appear as the Bride arrayed in white. And so, you see,
the mastery of the [consciousness of the] Cosmic Christ
is [the accomplishment] of the [mastery of the] four points
of the City Foursquare and of the four sides of the four
lower bodies. And thus, the mark of the Cosmic Christ
consciousness and of one who has attained it is that you
become all things to all people."
Lord Maitreya also holds the office
of the Great Initiator. In one of his letters to his chelas
on 'The Opening of the Seventh Seal,' published in the
1979 Pearls of Wisdom, Sanat Kumara spoke of Maitreya
in his office of the 'Great Initiator, the Guru of Gurus.'
The holder and the beholder of the office is Maitreya,
the Great Loving One, the Buddha Who Has Come. His Dharma
is sacrifice. His virtue is diligence to all in the discipleship
of discernment and discrimination—mind and heart
for determined action. He . . . teaches the art and the
science of the balance of karma and the transmutation
of energies misqualified through the perfecting of the
heart.

"Beloved, I long to see you free, and we are
determined! And the Presence, then, in this golden
sphere of causal body of Light of my beloved does
arc the very presence of the Lady Master Venus in
that Retreat of the Divine Mother unveiled over
the Inner Retreat, so that Camelot, in this City
of the Angels of the Christ and the Buddha, shall
have that ray and that Light of my divine counterpart.
"And you will know the Truth
of Maitreya. And you will receive the initiations
individually from my heart daily if you but inscribe,
then, a separate letter to me this New Year’s
Eve addressed to your Mighty I AM Presence and Holy
Christ Self, to me and to my beloved twin flame.
"Then, beloved, you may apply
to become my chela, my initiate. And watch well,
for I AM determined to accept almost as many who
call upon me, rather to give you the initiations
and let you eliminate yourselves rather than I eliminating
you without giving you a clean white page in 1986
to begin anew where you left off on Lemuria.
"And I tell you, you did leave
me in Lemuria and I come to claim you again! And
you may determine to move forward, for I will bring
you to that point of the union, whether inner or
outer, of twin flames as only my office can accomplish.
For it is my office that was violated by twin flames,
and therefore through me you must receive that reuniting.
"Thus, beloved, understand
that wherever there is the beloved presence of Sanat
Kumara and Lady Master Venus, there I AM. There
I AM as heart filled to deliver their Light, as
they have taught me forever and taught also Lord
Gautama and Jesus and Kuthumi and all who have come
to the union of the I AM THAT I AM."

"So He came
to Nazareth, where He had been brought
up.
And as His custom was, He went into
the synagogue on the Sabbath day,
and stood up to read. And He was handed
the book of Isaiah.
And when He had opened the book, He
found the place where it was written:
'The Spirit of
the Lord is upon Me,
Because He has anointed Me to preach
the gospel to the poor.
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To preach deliverance to the captives
And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set at liberty those who are oppressed,
To preach the acceptable year of the
Lord.'
"Then He closed
the book, and gave it back to the attendant
and sat down. And the eyes of all who
were in the synagogue were fixed on
Him.
And He began to say to them, 'Today
this Scripture is fulfilled

Sanat Kumara revealed in these Pearls
that Lord Maitreya is one of the four hierarchs of the
Ruby Ray, who serve as initiators of the souls of the
Lightbearers on the Path of the Ruby Ray. These initiations
take the chelas of Divine Love on a course of soul-mastery
on the ruby cross through the lessons of sacrifice, surrender,
selflessness and service as they are charted on the 1/7
and 4/10 axes of the Cosmic Clock.
As El Morya pointed out in his July
5, 1985 dictation, the four Ruby Ray hierarchs occupy
the offices of the Lion, the Calf (or the Ox), the Man
and the Flying Eagle. Wearing the mantle of the Man, Jesus
Christ initiates us in the virtue of surrender on the
one o’clock line under the hierarchy of Aquarius.
Wearing the mantle of the Lion, Lord Maitreya initiates
us in the virtue of sacrifice on the seven o’clock
line under the hierarchy of Leo.
Wearing the mantle of the Calf, Gautama
Buddha initiates us in the virtue of service on the four
o’clock line under the hierarchy of Taurus. Wearing
the mantle of the Flying Eagle, Sanat Kumara initiates
us in the virtue of selflessness on the ten o’clock
line under the hierarchy of Scorpio.
Four Quadrants of the Cosmic Clock

In these same offices, the Ruby Ray hierarchs also teach
soul-mastery in the four quadrants of the Cosmic Clock
as they stand on the 12/6 and 3/9 axes, holding the balance
of the cosmic cross of Power formed thereby as well as
the threefold flame for each quadrant. Lord Maitreya as
the Lion holds the flame of God-Power on the twelve o’clock
line under the hierarchy of Capricorn, governing the etheric
(fire) quadrant. Sanat Kumara as the Flying Eagle holds
the flame of God-Harmony on the six o’clock line
under the hierarchy of Cancer, governing the water quadrant
of the emotions.
Jesus as the Man holds the flame of God-Control
on the three o’clock line under the
hierarchy of Aries, governing the mental (air) quadrant.
Gautama as the Calf holds the flame of God-Reality on
the nine o’clock line under the hierarchy of Libra,
governing the physical (earth) quadrant.

Offices and Hierarchs of the Four Quadrants.
On the path of the ruby ray, Sanat Kumara, Lord Gautama, Lord
Maitreya, and Jesus Christ hold the offices of the hierarchs of
the four quadrants. These offices (embodied by the Four Cosmic
Forces) are noted in Ezekiel 1:10 and Revelation 4:7 as the Lion,
the Calf (Ox), the Man, and the Flying Eagle.
As diagrammed on the Cosmic Clock, Lord Maitreya
represents the Father on the 12 o'clock line (etheric quadrant)
in the office of the Lion; Lord Gautama, the Holy Spirit on the
9 o'clock line (physical quadrant) in the office of the Calf;
Jesus Christ, the Son on the 3 o'clock line (mental quadrant)
in the office of the Man; and Sanat Kumara, the Divine Mother
on the 6 o'clock line (emotional quadrant) in the office of the
Flying Eagle.

"Understand, beloved, that few officeholders are perfect
but the mantle of the office that comes from the Great White Brotherhood
is indeed perfect. Therefore, respect the mantle of the office
of the President of the United States, which since the anointing
of George Washington has been a mantle in the hierarchy of the
Brotherhood.
"There have been officeholders who have scarcely understood
the mantle. Some have betrayed it, some have gone against the
Light [Christ consciousness] of the I AM Presence. But because
the mantle itself was present, as some have remarked, the nation
has survived its presidents!
"Understand, then, that although there is a willing heart
in your President, there are circumstances and individuals and
even his own karma that may prevent the best use of that mantle
and the wielding of it in a stronger defense of freedom. I say
pray for the officeholder to come into alignment with the mantle
itself. And offer the prayer upon all elected representatives
and those not elected that the mantle of Christ descend.
"Whether they will use that mantle to divide the waters and
proclaim the Truth of the Lord's prophecy or whether it will become
a judgment upon their own treasonous acts against this nation,
so be it. The mantle itself will perform its work when invoked
by you. Since it is a qualification of the representatives of
the people of this nation to be the bearers of the Light and the
mantle of the Christ, therefore you may invoke it. And therefore
you may use the Judgment Call to demand the judgment of those
individuals who have betrayed the office of Mediator, which office
is essential in the interpretation and execution of the Constitution.
"Realize, then, that in this hour as I stand and as I have
appeared to the people of America at the soul level, there is
come to pass this initiation and this reinforcement: that the
calling of the Lord is that those who represent the people—whether
in public office, private industry, education, or society—must
therefore be compelled to uphold the standard of the Cosmic Christ.
They must be compelled by the Lightbearers in the nation who form
the ensign of the enlightened ones—and this by the calls
to the Almighty, to us, the body of the Lords of Karma, to your
Christ Self, and to the entire Hierarchy.
" . . . That for which the people have prayed-which is the
intercessor, the deliverance of this nation in the face of world
situations—has been answered by Almighty God in my person,
beloved, because I am the one Ascended Master upon whom all people
of this nation can agree and to whom they may give their allegiance."

your mantle and your office to bear the Mother Flame, you will
soon discover that you can make more karma in leaving than you
could have made had you never entered the Path before. And so
the path of the bodhisattvas moving toward Buddhahood, of the
disciples moving toward Christhood must be the awareness that
the radiating sun of Light within us creates new opportunities,
a new descent of Light to the earth. (This applies whether you
are affiliated with Church Universal and Triumphant or you are
a member of another activity or you are walking the Path of Light
without being associated with any group.)
"If we were suddenly to withdraw our radiating
sun of Light individually or as a Community, it would be as catastrophic
as the withdrawal of the physical sun from our solar system. Thus
we remember the teachings of Gautama Buddha—of the Sangha,
the Community, the sun center of the heart. We remember that,
like our sun, Gautama Buddha, Lord of the World, never leaves
off sustaining our threefold flame by the thread of contact from
his heart.
"At the moment that he should withdraw this
thread of contact, perhaps we would still be in a state of oneness
and attunement with our I AM Presence. But perhaps in another
moment we would be going through the Dark Night of the Spirit
or the dark night of the soul or severe temptation or the descent
into Death and Hell.
"Just as we depend upon our God Presence
until the hour of our ascension—until we become, as Kuan
Yin, the self-existent one—so do many other lifestreams
on earth depend upon us.
"Just as every living thing on earth depends
upon the physical sun, those evolutions of earth who have become
accustomed to our footsteps, our voices and our presences on the
planet cannot do without the light-emanation of our hearts, for
they too have come to depend upon us as sun centers and sun sources."

Mantle of the presidency.
The office of the President of the United States
of America is a spiritual office in the Hierarchy of the Great
White Brotherhood. The one who is elected to this office is intended
to have the mantle and sponsorship of the Brotherhood.
On November 8, 1987, the Messenger Elizabeth
Clare Prophet delivered Saint Germain’s message pronouncing
the Lord’s judgment on Ronald
Reagan for his abdication of his responsibilities as the president
of the United States.
In a dictation given February 26, 1988, Archangel
Gabriel stated that the spiritual mantle of the presidency had
been withdrawn from Ronald Reagan and that 'he no longer walks
holding the mantle of Saint Germain.'
On July 3, 1988, four months prior to the election
of George Bush as the next president, Alpha and Omega said in
a dictation:
"By the time we address you again, the head
of state of this nation shall have changed. Leaders who have betrayed
will be displaced by still others who shall betray. Inasmuch as
there has not appeared in the land one who could bear the mantle
of that office at the level of Christhood required (and unless
by some miracle one should displace the candidates who have lined
up), we say that the Mantle of Alpha, the Mantle of Omega, of
Saint Germain and Portia shall not descend upon the next holder
of that office.
"As in the days of Israel when all looked
for the Messiah and the birth thereof and parents prepared themselves
as initiates on the Path, so in this day every chela of El Morya,
out of compassion for his heart and Presence and burden, ought
to consider himself in preparation to receive that mantle.
" . . . All must look to the heart, all must look to the
Holy Christ Self and say, ‘I will prepare myself to bear
this mantle or perhaps a portion thereof. I must represent my
nation under God and somehow bear physically the virtues required
of one who enters the office of the President of the United States.’
Spiritually speaking, beloved, see yourselves as candles on a
giant cake, each one bearing that office; for the office itself
must not perish from the earth."

"Understand, therefore, that though we can never guarantee
a person or personality, not even one who professes to serve the
cause of Light, we say that the Law must give opportunity to one
who has declared himself to be in favor of those principles of
Truth and right action that represent both the path of the Christ
and of the Buddha.
"We ask that you understand that there is
darkness in both parties. And therefore the use of the judgment
call. And the binding and casting down of the dweller on the threshold
of all those who have pitted themselves against the very lifeblood
and heart of America and the very hearts of all light-bearers
and of the nation itself can be placed in your calls, can be decreed
for. And this itself will free right action and the people of
light to have their victory.
" . . . Understand, beloved hearts, as we
have said: It is up to the Karmic Board and the children of the
Light to act in concerted action to give an individual—perhaps
unknown, perhaps untried—the opportunity to declare his
word and to fulfill it.
"You will see, therefore, that the greed
elements and the politics were never more cutthroat as they are
in this hour. And merely to elect this individual who has promised
to undo the machine itself is not enough. Protection calls must
be given intensely to the seven mighty archangels for the protection
of a lifestream who appears to stand for the cause of the Brotherhood
and for the protection of all those who must, perforce, become
a part of a committee of light-bearers to form rings of light
around that individual.
" . . . Do not think because the darkness
is heavy that the light is not greater. The light indeed
is so great that the dark ones are frantic! And therefore, with
renewed zest and a mighty zeal
in the Lord, go forth each day, many times over, even hour by
hour, to give this call for the binding of the dweller on the
threshold of all individuals who have ever betrayed the light
of the Great White Brotherhood in any activity whatsoever of our
Brotherhood on this planetary home.
"For you will find that the betrayers of
the light of the Brotherhood have appeared and reappeared many
times over, and they have stood as the spoilers of many of the
noblest efforts of Saint Germain in both church and state, in
the esoteric movements. Why, beloved ones, there is scarcely an
organization or a movement that is more than thirty-five years
old that has not been infiltrated at some level by the fallen
ones.
"And therefore, once again it is necessary
for us to be compromised in our purpose and to have to search
for ways and means to drive in a wedge of light, hopefully to
overthrow the false hierarchy wherever it is found, having positioned
itself in the place of the Christ Self simply because of unsuspecting
and even naive souls who would, if they could, muster the light
to see what they ought to see—if they would only leave off
of their own idolatry and systems of favoritism and truly call
to task themselves and everyone else, and make no one the exception
of the path of true chelaship.
" . . . the Brotherhood is no respecter
of persons—not to the Right or to the Left, the Democratic
or Republican party, or any parties that you may find in your
nations—so you may understand that in every election it
is important to consider by free will and independent action:
Who is that one who can most ensconce the purposes of the Brotherhood
and the flame of eternal Life?
"It is important to be selective and not
follow the “party line.” For, after all, this is not
a totalitarian nation, and you are not required to simply go the
way of either party because you have so affiliated yourself.
' . . . Blessed ones, look for the ascended masters’
own choice candidates and vote for the nearest best, those who
are most likely to lead America and every nation and city and
town closer to the divine standard of the inner Christ. Help such
individuals who are so striving, and call for the mighty light
rays and the river of God himself to cleanse, therefore, all political
organizations, political activities, and politicians.
" . . . Thus, with Confucius and Lord Lanto, I say, look
for the lightbearers who have the potential to lead to victory
a city or state or nation! And go behind those ones with a full
fervor of the violet flame. But be impartial and do not be idolatrous;
therefore, you will not be disappointed when some for whom you
have voted do not fulfill the full standards they have promised
or do not follow exactly the line of the Brotherhood.
"For sometimes we must all be grateful for
small favors. We must be grateful that things are not upset too
greatly. We must be grateful that at least one holds an office
and holds the mark against further degeneration.
"If we cannot hope for a mighty acceleration
in the flame of peace, at least we can hold out the joy for a
containment of war. Thus, little by little the Path is won, little
by little the earth turns into a sun, little by little the violet-flame
flowers of Saint Germain are found here and there and everywhere!
"Wherever a heart is glad in the presence
of the Master, so be glad. It is so important to be grateful for
gifts great and small, for little favors and graces and a true
manifestation of mastery.
"Therefore, let us vote for God and vote
for Christ, have compassion for the vessel, and not expect too
much of the human but be determined that we shall espouse anyone
who shall give his word to overcome corruption on earth.
"I AM Maitreya and I seal you in a most
intense golden light. It is up to you, then, to channel that light
into effective action for world dominion of the Christ consciousness.
