"Audiences
aren't so mindless
as movie-makers think."—Sir Anthony Hopkins, actor
"Heroes aren't athletes who set
new sports records or Hollywood actors
who make 'daring' films, or politicians who make bold promises.
Heroes are people who place themselves at risk
for the benefit of others."—Oliver North
"I have looked politics and movies
both over, and while they have much in common,
I believe politics is the most common. So I will stay with the
movies."—Will Rogers
"The movies aren't what they used
to be.
Hollywood still imagines that it's the center of the cosmos,
but the movies, politically correct as they have become . . .
don't move us
as they once did . . . [E]ven Oscar ain't what he used to be.
Academy Awards night has come and gone, and mostly what we remember
are the ladies' gowns. Movie stars are no longer the icons of
yesteryear,
and they're often known more for their romantic liaisons, their
rap sheets
and their half-baked political opinions than for their work on
the silver screen.
The days of the divas, Bette Davis, Joan Crawford and Barbara
Stanwyck, have vanished.
. . . Movies gave voice to common moral standards that were imbedded
in the drama.
Partisan politics was shunned. 'If you want to send a message,'
Jack Warner
(or maybe it was Sam Goldwyn) famously told his producers, 'go
to Western Union.'
Content today has splintered audiences into age groups, and politically
correct messages
have often replaced a good story."—Suzanne Fields |
"I tell you, the spiritual path, the physical path, the human
path and the path of self-transcendence wherein you deal with
your psychology can all be fitted into your schedule as long as
you place the proper weight on each part of your life. Chelas
of my heart! You must realize that if you desire to deal justly
with each aspect of your life, if you desire to be worthy of the
calling that you have been called to, you may not dally in forms
of entertainment that weigh the mind with unhealthy records and
pollute the astral body.
"I speak, beloved,
of your going over and over the motion pictures of the past that
have played and played and played themselves out. Have you ever
seen a Bodhisattva come out of a group of individuals who were
movie buffs? I haven’t.
"The desire of the
Lords of Karma is for you to see that which is quality. There
is much that is quality that is transmitted by satellite on certain
stations. You must set up a system whereby you can record and
play these programs for your members and play them again. These
more effectively convey the essence of culture.
" . . . Take care, then, beloved ones, for all things can
be accomplished here. But when you let your mind stoop to the
level of those motion pictures that have to do with human emotion,
human sexuality, violence, ego-strutting and all kinds of distorted
sounds, this, beloved, not only affects you and your chelaship
on the Path but it compromises Maitreya’s Mystery School.
"I speak, therefore,
on behalf of the Lords of Karma. It is not necessary that anyone
among you should be censoring movies or other entertainment. It
behooves each one, in your own Christhood, to do that censoring
and to realize that if too many of you continue to watch too many
of these motion pictures or to engage in other entertainment that
is surely below the level of your Christhood, you will see a compromise
in this Mystery School of Maitreya that will not be able to be
made up. It will not be made up by El Morya, by the Messenger
or by a counterweight of your decrees in this court. There are
some things that cannot take place on this ground if this ground
is to remain holy and if you are to be supported as we desire
to support you.
"Those of you who
do not wish to surrender these lower forms of entertainment as
pastimes whereby you can dull the mind and forget about the rigors
of spiritual attainment ought to reconsider whether you wish to
remain at the Royal Teton Ranch at Maitreya’s Mystery School.
For I tell you, beloved, it is an hour and a season when El Morya
is fighting for the continuing dispensation not only of this Mystery
School but of other orders in the East that are being attacked
from without directly, such as in Tibet.
"Yes, beloved ones, it is the Mystery School that is the
repository of the patterns to be outpictured in the Renaissance
child, who shall become the Renaissance man and woman of the Aquarian
age. If culture, the culture of divine love and beauty, is to
be perpetuated, then I say you must make yourselves bastions,
towers of the love ray of the arts of Paul the Venetian. And throw
out the rubbage and remove it from your files!
"Throw out that rubbish, beloved
ones, and stop all diversions that take you downstream to the
astral plane, that leave engrams in the mind and in the subconscious.
And you would be surprised how long it takes you to remove the
patterns of motion pictures and the amplification of modern so-called
music. This is because the heavy emotions and the misqualified
energy of the lower chakras projected through modern movies and
music affect the emotional body and the soul
with an intensity that is severe. And the younger your children
are when you allow them to watch violence on TV and in the movies,
the more damage that is done—for life."

|
" . . . they stand apart and away,
not revealing the terror of their night and their hellfire until
that hour and the moment when they determine to deliver it suddenly
as a blitzkrieg upon the planetary body.
"Therefore, those of you who have not stood
against Antichrist nose to nose, as one would say, do not have
the sense of recollection of what it means to be in peace and
all in the bliss of God, minding your business and living your
life as good individuals, suddenly to have the chaos of the
underworld unleashed. Those who have experienced world wars and
been in the midst of battle, they do know and they recall.
"Therefore I say, sleep not but be
watchful, for this descent of Darkness in your midst may come
at any hour and any day! It may come to assail you and set aside
your mission. I do not come to incite fear but I speak of the
realism of the hour, and the realism is that even the sons of
God who have that Christhood just above them as a mantle of Light
do not sense the urgency of claiming it in the full path of God-mastery."

"Beware, then, the media, the motion pictures, that which
you watch on television. For that which you see you become, and
you go to the place of its point of origin, sometimes descending
many decades on the ladder of life, even entering the astral plane
without realizing it. Thus, you must climb again the tree of life.
"You who have taken in the entertainment
of the world, I remind you that life is short. The hours and the
days are short. Come into a community of devotees—yes, devotees
of the names of God. Come in, beloved, and join my seraphim; for
they embody the names and they shall accompany your singing. It
shall no longer be a dream of angels but the reality of angels.
I ask you to be instruments for the rapprochement of God and man
in the earth.
"In the name of Alpha and Omega, who
have sent me, I seal you in this hour. Do not break the seal but
keep the love and draw in the reins of all untoward states of
consciousness. Thus shall you know wholeness. Thus shall you lead
with the World Mother all peoples of the earth who walk with God."

"The youth of the world, who have been
hypnotized by the dark doings of the Luciferians rampant in this
age, should wake up to the fact that they have been made the puppets
of darkness. They should understand clearly that they have been
manipulated by those who have used the television and moving picture
industry of the United States and other nations to brainwash them
with a decadent philosophy and a decadent music—the same
old theme that caused the destruction of Maldek.
"They should see, before it is too
late, that the jaws of a vicious trap are closing in upon them—and
even if the plot should fail to actually materialize as their
perpetrators plan, mankind stand to be the losers, because the
youth who have defected from the Spirit of the living God will
be the ones who will not only bear the coming generation but also
set the example for it. Yet all of this can still be avoided by
their parents, teachers, and elected representatives, who thus
far have allowed the misapplication of the cardinal principles
of Divine Reality in school, church, and society to go unchecked."

"And a fervor of freedom and fire draws my own Self to this
very altar as I celebrate with you this Saturday-night fervor
for the light of freedom!—and I will not mention the name
of a previous motion picture that has usurped that light of the
Saturday-night fervor of the lightbearers.
"Therefore I say, let this rolling momentum
of violet flame from the hearts of my chelas roll back the misuse
of the sacred fire in the media! For I stand to roll it back by
the full momentum of my causal body. And I stand before you, determined
as you are determined that there shall be a judgment and a purification
and a purging of Hollywood, of the media, of the motion-picture
industry; for we are tired as you are tired of this misuse of
the light and sound ray from our octave.
"We are tired of the misuse of the media
by the serpents. Why, that family of serpents portraying before
an audience estimated even at three hundred million worldwide
in that very focal point of light in Dallas—that family
of serpents, even those who portray them giving forth the image
of the serpent consciousness are also judged.
"Beloved hearts, do you think it is coincidental
that on the eve of the anniversary of the remembrance of the assassination
of a son of God the world should be more concerned with who shot
J.R. than who shot JFK? Beloved hearts, it is coincidence. It
is more than coincidence! It is the mockery of the fallen ones
that these serpents and their momentum of astral effluvia in these
programs should draw more attention than the real problems of
solving the crimes of the ages.
"They ought to be concerned with who shot
Abraham Lincoln—not that it matters who is the individual
but that it matters what is the force of Antichrist moving abroad
in this nation. Thus I have come to you to present my own version
of the irony of the age as well as the rod of iron that shall
rule. Beloved hearts, won’t you be seated as I take you
to my fireside and my hearth.
"Why are they more concerned about who shot
J.R.? Because it is an escape. Because it is easy to dwell in
fantasyland. It is easier not to face conflict within and on a
national or an international level. It is easier to slumber in
the night instead of being the watchman on the wall of world freedom.
It is easier to neglect the freedom and the peace until it is
too late and then to deal with circumstances with the realization
that when it is too late, after all, it will all be over so suddenly
that we will not even feel it.
" . . . Precious hearts, understand
that everything is canned these days—voice tones, mannerisms,
mechanization of delivery of address—and if there is departure
from these norms, the individual is beheld as a freak, perhaps
some new species or whatever. Listen to the commentators, listen
to CBS and hear how one parrots another and all speak with the
same tones, the same pauses. The same manner of speech, down to
the letter, must be mastered. And those, then, who rise in the
professional fields, those who win the prizes, those who are respected
are those who conform to the norms."

"One of the ways the negative patterns of the fallen angels
are reinforced (or re-created) by the mass consciousness is through
the replaying of old movies. Projected on the screen—and
the screen of people’s consciousness—are the bigger-than-life
images of the 'stars,' in many cases fallen angels. Hence, the
fallen stars are, in effect, kept alive and immortalized by people
who worship them still and give them their attention and therefore
their precious energy. As Godfré Ray King used to say,
'Where your attention goes, there goes your energy.' "

"I, Jesus, state for the record that it is my desire that
you not watch motion pictures more than twice a month. It is also
my desire that the videotapes you bring into your homes be quality
entertainment suitable for family members of all ages.
"If you spend your evenings passing the
time watching movies or television indiscriminately, you are not
truly one with me, you are not truly a part of my heart, you do
not truly share my sorrow on Golgotha! And you do not truly share
my resurrection in glory. You do not share it, even though you
think you do!
" . . . Think about this: Each time you
take in a worldly motion picture, it takes you a minimum of five
days to transmute it if you have a good momentum on giving your
violet-flame decrees—and much longer if you don’t.
For those who do not decree at all, the records of their media
experiences, including rock concerts and violent films, pile up
in the psyche; and the sounds and the scenes come up again and
again as though they were actual life experiences.
"Who in his right mind would want to thus
burden his soul?
"Select motion pictures that profile the
heroes of history, the rise and fall of civilizations, the origins
of the major religions of the world and a wealth of cultural material
that teaches children about the world they have reincarnated into.
"Think about how many hours you devote to
entertainment that does not afford you a net gain physically or
spiritually. Think about how you could spend the same amount of
time developing a powerful spiritual momentum on giving calls
for the healing of all who mourn, all who are sick, all who are
dying and fear death. The hours you spend in unproductive activity
are costly, very costly! both to you and to us, as we are your
sponsors.
"I speak to you out
of the octaves of light and I say, wake up! It is impossible for
you to imagine how difficult it is, once you leave the earth plane
through the change called death, to balance karma, to advance
on the Path or to make headway with your violet-flame decrees
to the extent that you will be able to accelerate your reincarnation
on earth. (In this scenario I am assuming that you will have made
it to the etheric octave, although this is by no means guaranteed
you.)"

" . . . (All should guard their vision from) the horrendous
forms that come through the media, through the television, through
the movies....Let the all-seeing Eye of God penetrate to ascertain
what is occurring in the world, to ascertain the position of the
evil forces. And then let that projection of the cosmic cube be
stamped upon them, sealing the place where evil dwells by the
power of the Most High God.
"(The hierarchies of the Pleiades are behind) this experiment
for the complete transformation of the planetary orb by the power
of the all-seeing Eye of God. Therefore I say, I give you the
key: call to the Pleiades and the hierarchies thereof. There are
millions of cosmic beings with their cosmic retinues who will
come forth in answer to your prayer, millions of Cosmic Christs
who will carry into manifestation that divine blueprint.
" . . . (You must be) chalices, guardians
of the blueprint. And give to God and His emissaries the opportunity
to bring it into manifestation even by the power of the spoken
Word which you use in the giving of decrees, even by the power
of your heartflame.
" . . . Love the Christ and let it
come forth in your fellowman, and do no withhold that love. For
by your withholding you place a veil upon the divine blueprint
of the City Foursquare. For by the withholding of your love you
withhold the rhythm and the pulsebeat of the heart of God that
must travel from your heartflame through the third eye out into
manifestation as precipitation in the world of form."

" . . . Remember that God allowed Satan to tempt Job. You
must not run away from Satan when he tempts you but face him,
challenge him, cast him out and let him know again and again that
he may not ride into your household through vile movies or TV
programs that you and your children should not be seeing. Although
some of you still think that these are harmless, they can actually
alter the development of your children’s brains and increase
their aggressive tendencies by significant percentages.
"Blessed ones, cast out Satan at every
hand! For the descendants of Satan are still in the earth. And
as has been said, God has a right to test you, and you have a
right to be tested. Therefore, do not shirk from those testings,
from those difficulties, but face them! Yes, cast out the descendants
of Satan that are still in the earth and return to the citadel
of your oneness with Jesus Christ in your own heart of hearts."

The
Keys to the Kingdom
"Back in the forties,
Gregory Peck starred in a movie called 'The Keys to the Kingdom.'
Some of you might have seen it. It was centered in China and it
contrasted a proud and 'successful' ecclesiastic, who was really
after the keys to an earthly kingdom, with a poor priest who served
long and hard as a missionary to gain the keys to the heavenly
kingdom."

300
Spartans
In the fifth century B.C., Serapis Bey was embodied
as Leonidas, the Spartan king honored throughout history for his
courageous spirit in the face of insurmountable odds. In 480 B.C.
Leonidas commanded the Greeks in their heroic stand against the
immense Persian invasion at the pass of Thermopylae—gateway
to central Greece.
Before the attack, it was reported that
when the Persians shot their bows, the arrows darkened the sky.
In response, one of the Spartans cried: "Then we'll fight
in the shade!" Leonidas, with 300 Spartans and about 6,000
Greek allies, resisted the advance of the Persian army under King
Xerxes for two days. On the third day, when the Persians approached
from the rear and no reinforcements were in sight, Leonidas dismissed
most of his troops, and he and his 300-member Spartan royal guard
fought to the last man.

The
Razor's Edge
The movie's major theme is concisely put: "The time had come
to put the world behind you." One wonders, how many of those
who experienced World War Two could. This is a great movie and
a great book. I think it should be read and seen by everyone.
And please, why did they have to remake it?

The
Ten Commandments
The audience sees the striking off of "The
Ten Commandments" by successive thunderbolts —while
a deep voice intones their contents—and their burning into
the tablets of stone . . .
With an Oscar winning special effects,
the film is a moving story of the spirit of freedom rising in
a man under the divine inspiration of his Maker..It is a remarkable
spectacle . . . filled with exceptional setting and decor (impressive
facade of the the Egyptian city from which the 'exodus' begins)..costumes
(splendidly created) and great music score . . . |

" . . . It is like the occasion of Moses being taken up into
Mount Sinai to be given the teachings of the law.
"When Moses came down the mountain and he
found the children of Israel playing with a golden calf, he broke
the tablets. And when he went up again and they were again given,
it was a law for a backbiting, stiff-necked, and wayward people—not
for the white-fire core initiates. The Ten Commandments that have
come down to us as well as all of the laws of living given to
the Jews are the laws that constrain and hold back the carnal
mind rather than the laws for the initiation of the Christ light
because the children of Israel did not demonstrate their preparedness
to receive the inner teachings of the sacred fire. And so all
God could give them were ways to live by ritual, by law to curtail
the human appetites.
"With the coming of the incarnation of the
Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, that grace of the sacred fire,
the opportunity to put it on and to become the Christ, was given
once again to all of God’s children, to his sons and daughters—and
through them it would be given to all of the evolutions of the
earth. You’ve heard about the Nephilim, the Watchers, and
the godless creation. With the coming of the Son of God there
is the opportunity for these fallen ones to elect to bow before
Almighty God and his Son and therefore to receive the gift of
the threefold flame.
"We are living in the age of the eighth
covenant and the eighth dispensation corresponding to the eighth
ray. The preceding seven covenants have been opportunities for
people to enter the path of initiation and to ascend. Each one
of those covenants was broken—beginning with the Garden
of Eden all the way through the opportunity of Jesus Christ. The
eighth covenant takes in the Book of Revelation—the teachings
of Saint Germain for this two-thousand-year cycle, the violet
flame, the dynamic use of the spoken Word as God’s gift
returning to us the power of the Word incarnate.
"This dispensation of the eighth ray
is given first to the hundred and forty and four thousand who
gather with the Lamb on mount Sion. And the mount Sion is the
mount of the I AM Presence where the Lamb is, where Sanat Kumara
is embodied in the messenger—the point of contact with the
I AM Presence as it was with Moses, as it was with Jesus. So the
gift of the Word is given to a white-fire core nucleus—12,000
as a remnant from each of the twelve tribes. When those 144,000
elect to put on their Sonship, they in turn—by the gift
of the Holy Spirit—can transfer the power of conversion
to the children of God and then through the children of God to
all mankind . . . "

"The sin of the Israelites was not that they did not receive
the Christ in the person of the Guru Moses. Indeed, they received
him. They followed him, their Saviour, the promised one, all the
way from Egypt where the law had required that they become slaves
under Pharaoh that they might receive God incarnate in the slave
(chela) Moses. And Moses was a slave of the law, of his calling,
of his I AM THAT I AM. But most of all, he was the slave of his
people.
"He would lay down his life for them that
they might live. He was the Lord’s vessel—chosen,
initiated, anointed. He was the Guru because he knew how to be
the chela of the Great Guru, the Christ Self within his people.
And they knew it. They followed him all the way from the land
of Egypt, where the second beast had initiated them on the Path
of the Rose Cross through the mask of their taskmasters, where
building towers for Pharaoh they learned to make bricks without
straw for the building of the temple of the inner man.
"Yoked like dumb oxen to the treadmill,
they shared the crucifixion of the Calf that they might know him
in his glory. And when the promised one came, they followed him
out of the land of death through forty cycles of initiation in
the Sinai wilderness to the gate of the Promised Land where, in
future generations, those who kept the image of the throne would
behold the resurrection of the Lamb, their future Guru incarnate.
"No, the sin of the Israelites was not that
they did not receive I AM THAT I AM as the personal presence of
God who delivered them through the hand of Moses, even as the
Father was in the Son. Indeed, the Israelites knew their God.
They called upon his name. And so long as they kept his name sealed
in their hearts, spoken from their lips, YOD HE VAU HE, that Lord
was with them. But when they ceased to preserve that name a memorial
unto all generations, the name that is for ever, they no longer
knew his personal presence within the temple of being but relied
instead upon the secondary source, the priesthood of the Levites.
But this they did not unto themselves, but it was done unto them
in succeeding generations.
"What, then, was the sin of the Israelites
who had received both the one sent, their Guru, and his God? It
was this, my beloved. Their sufficiency was not in the Guru. In
his presence or in his absence, the true chela knows that the
grace of the Guru is sufficient for him. The Guru’s consciousness,
his ever-present Person, his energy available on command in the
name of Christ, supplieth every need. But they liked his personality
when he met their human demands, and they disliked it when he
did not. This is the ultimate test of the chela. It must come
to every one.
"Moreover, it was the sin of the Israelites
not to declare their sufficiency in the I AM Presence. Then as
today, they go a whoring after other gods, other sources of pleasure,
psychic thralldom, manipulation of energy, sexual perversions,
lust for spiritual and material power, and the inducing of altered
states of consciousness by chemical means and diabolical worship.
Not finding their sufficiency in their Guru or his God, they failed
utterly to find their sufficiency in their own inner Christ, their
own inner Self.
"Thus it came to pass that the path of chelaship
under the lineal descent of the patriarchs, the prophets, and
the kings which the Lord God sent to them was likewise no longer
their sufficiency. So it is written in the law: Without obedience
to the Guru, the chela has no right to the teachings of the Guru.
"So it was done by Moses. And the wrath
of God descended through him and he broke the two tables of testimony,
tables of stone written with the finger of God. Out of the mouth
of God the Word was spoken and to the mouth of God that Word returned,
for it found no biding place in the hearts of the people. The
chelas had failed the first initiation on the Path of the Rose
Cross: the sacrifice of the Lion of the tribe of Juda—the
sacrifice of the self (the soul) unto the Self (the I AM Presence
personified in the Guru).
"The law required that they transmute the
energy misqualified. And so Moses 'took the calf which they had
made, and burnt it in the fire, and ground it to powder, and strawed
it upon the water, and made the children of Israel drink of it.'
And unto the sons of Levi who gathered themselves together unto
the Guru Moses and his I AM THAT I AM, it was given to slay the
human ego of brother, companion, and neighbor. These children
of the light must prove that the death of the lesser self is swallowed
up in the victory of the resurrected Christ.
"But with all of this—and the ‘slaying’
of the three thousand—yet it was required that the Guru
make ‘an atonement’ for the sins of his chelas. And
it is ever thus. The Guru who has balanced his personal karma—all
but a small portion to keep him in embodiment—the Guru that
holds the balance of planetary karma must yet go about balancing
the karma of his chelas. But the I AM THAT I AM who personified
the law would not lay the sin of the chelas unto the Guru, for
the Guru Moses was blameless before his chelas and before his
God.
"Thus the Lord charged each individual chela
with the full burden of his word and his work: 'Whosoever hath
sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.' But the karma
of the remainder of the children of Israel was set aside. And
the Lord sent his Archangel, Michael, to go before Moses to bring
him to the land promised unto Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.
"O children of the light, you were the remnant
preserved, the seed of Abraham that became the seed of the twelve
tribes of the sons of Jacob. And all of the Lord’s promises
hath he fulfilled. And now the hour is come which Moses foreknew—the
day when the Lord would visit the sin of the people upon them.
Now the Lord God requires the balancing of the sin of disobedience
to the Guru and the sin of the soul’s avowed sufficiency
unto itself instead of unto the living Word.
"Now all the earth trembles in the
midst of the Dark Cycle, reeling against the returning karma of
their affront to the Godhead. He sent his messenger and, lo, they
did not heed him! But unto the children of the light who have
waited for the day when they might prove their victory over this
beast of self-idolatry, the Dark Cycle of their returning karma
is the sign of their imminent victory in Armageddon and the Second
Coming of Christ in the person of every ascended master who will
once again walk and talk with his chelas as did Guru Maitreya
in the garden of Eden.
"Now with full God-determination and
empowered by the Holy Ghost, they will get the victory over the
image of the beast which he has impressed upon their very souls
in the place of the image of the Guru, and over his warped engram
stamped on the seat-of-the-soul chakra to thwart the archetype
of the Christ in their genes and chromosomes, and over the number
of his name, 666, which is the perversion of the number of the
third beast who had a face as a man. Yes, now is the victory unto
the children of the light."
|
|
"Some of the clearest examples of returning karma in the
Old Testament can be seen in the tests and trials of the Israelites
during their forty years wandering in the wilderness. Time and
again Moses, messenger of God and great guru of the Israelites,
pleads with I AM THAT I AM on their behalf. Then again the Israelites
so provoke Moses that he becomes angry and makes karma himself!
"Only six weeks after the people make their
covenant-pledge with God, they demand that Aaron fashion them
a replica of the old gods of Egypt. When Moses returns from communing
with God on Mount Sinai, he sees the people worshiping the golden
calf and in his anger breaks the tablets of the law that he has
received from God.
"The LORD says, 'I have seen this people
and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people.' He says he will consume
the Israelites as the penalty (which means the karma) for breaking
the covenant-pledge with him. But through Moses’ intercession
the nation is spared, Aaron is saved and only(!) three thousand
people are punished with death.
"After they leave Sinai, the people complain
about there being nothing to eat but manna. They say: 'Our soul
is dried away. There is nothing at all beside this manna before
our eyes.' The LORD’s anger is kindled greatly and Moses
is also displeased. So the LORD sends them a month’s worth
of quail that they may satiate themselves in eating the flesh
they have lusted after. Nevertheless, the Lord punishes their
lust with a plague, causing the death of many.
"The way of the Old Testament has seemed
harsh to us with its wars upon wars and judgments descending.
And we say it was so because it was before the coming of Jesus
Christ. As John wrote, 'The law was given by Moses but grace and
truth came by Jesus Christ.'
"The Old and New Testaments show two distinct
dispensations. The first is the absolute law of the Mighty I AM
Presence, which was delivered by Moses, the judges and the prophets.
The second is the grace of the Son of God, which came through
Jesus Christ. Most of us have lived through these dispensations
and learned many lessons the hard way before we were brought to
our knees by the law of the I AM THAT I AM and the grace of the
only begotten Son of God.
"Both the Old and New Testaments show
the doings of a people whom God loves and wants to bring back
to himself. The people learn that disobedience to God’s
law brings about an untimely passing and the necessity to reembody
again. And by and by, after numerous incarnations, they begin
to fear the law and finally to love it."

" . . . The mission of Moses—who was Guru, who wore
Mother’s mantle—began with the conveyance to him by
my flame of the God-mastery of the ‘serpent’ force.
In this context the term serpent refers to the coil of light that
rises on the spinal altar—the very same 'rod of iron' with
which the Manchild goes forth 'to rule all nations.'
"You will recall that Moses carried a shepherd’s
crook, for he tended the flocks of Jethro, his father-in-law,
at Midian. You will also recall that I bade him cast his rod on
the ground. His obedience signified his willingness to cast aside
his calling in the Matter spheres and to take up the calling of
the Spirit, even as the disciples of Jesus Christ would later
be called to leave their nets to become fishers of men. So now
I would show Moses the mutability of his earthly calling that
was soon to become, by the law of transmutation, the immutability
of the heavenly calling.
"The shepherd’s crook is the symbol
of the life-force in man. Held in the hand of the Good Shepherd
of my people, it is the rod of attainment denoting that the chosen
one has raised the light of the Mother from the base of the spine
unto the crown chakra and sealed it in the third eye.
"Now when Moses saw that his rod became
a serpent, he fled from before it. I used this illustration to
show him how the fallen ones have taken the life-force and captivated
it in snakelike forms of destructivity capable of penetrating
the minds of my children by serpentine logic and sinuous emotion.
The very movement of a serpent’s body produces the sine
wave, and this relates to advanced teachings transferred by adepts
to their disciples whereby they learn to pass their bodies through
solid matter by the application of this principle of motion at
the molecular level.
"In order to succeed in his great commission,
Moses must demonstrate God-mastery in the exercise of the powers
of the king, for it was he who would indeed hold the key to the
incarnation of God in the children of Israel. I instructed him
to take the serpent by the tail, and I instruct you to do the
same. Not the head-on confrontation with the fallen ones, but
the challenging of the very base of their operation which is always
in the misuse of the base-of-the-spine chakra—this is the
tactic of angels of light and sons of God who have never left
their high calling to defend the Holy of Holies from the abomination
of desolation.
"When you learn to seize the light of the
Mother and raise it in God-control to the heart chakra, you will
also be able to put forth your hand as the hand of God and catch
the seed of Serpent. And when you shall have seized the light
which they have misqualified—to transmute it before it can
turn and bite you—then that light will become a rod of God’s
power in your hand. Thus prepare yourselves by diligent pursuit
of the science of the Mother light (1) to take up serpents by
faith in Archangel Michael and his Lord’s hosts, (2) to
turn them back by the true wisdom of the Son, and (3) to transmute
their hate and hate creation by love’s own violet ray—the
sacred fire of the Destroyer (Holy Spirit) who consumes all that
is unlike Himself.
"Now Aaron was also an initiate of the Ruby
Ray, who would exercise the power of the priest side by side with
Moses as his spokesman. Their holy offices, ordained of me upon
Horeb, were to set the archetypal pattern of the calling of the
kings and priests unto God under Alpha and Omega. It was the rod
of Moses (the type of king) wielded by Aaron (the type of priest)
which swallowed up the serpents of Egyptian black magic and sorcery
and set the sign of Christ’s rod. Later wielded by Jesus
(who embodied the offices of both king and priest, the wholeness
of Alpha and Omega), this rod would become the fiery caduceus
of the resurrection flame to swallow up the death cult of Egyptian
perversion of the Mother light and release it in the full glory
of love’s everlasting victory.
"The sacred fire of the life-force takes
on the form and manifestation of the one who is learning the right
and wrong method of becoming a co-creator with God. When I sent
fiery serpents among the people of Israel who spake out against
both God and Moses, these were the precipitation of their own
spirit of rebellion and disobedience—the very same spirit
of the seed of Serpent which they had allowed to enter their minds.
"By a mere inversion of the coil of energy
which had proceeded out of their mouths in impurity and impiety,
their miscreations returned to them the poisonous venom with which
they would have, if they could, killed Moses. And many of them
experienced death by the return of their own energy, reversed
by my right hand upraised against them. Such is the mantle of
the Great White Brotherhood—an ever-present protection upon
those who exercise their spiritual offices with all diligence,
humility, and love.
"When the people therefore called upon the
law of forgiveness for their sins, I bade Moses form a fiery serpent
and set it upon a pole; and any that were bitten by the poisonous
snakes, which returned to them the poison of their own consciousness,
were restored to life as they beheld (meditated upon) this brazen
serpent.
"It was the symbol of the life-force
and the representation of their own Mother light rising for the
healing of mind and soul and body. The snake entwined about the
wand of Mercury has remained the symbol of the victory of life
over death. It is the symbol of healing Truth and the wholeness
of Alpha and Omega that is realized through meditation in and
upon the All-Seeing Eye of God. And all who look upon that Eye
make contact with God’s vision of the perfection of their
being and consciousness."

Flatliners
Medical students bring themselves near death;
their experiment begins to go awry.
The Messenger’s lecture “On Dealing with Death, Discarnates
and Malevolent Spirits, Part II,” delivered February 18,
1991, includes commentary on the movie Flatliners. The Messenger
taught on near-death experiences and illustrated her discussion
with excerpts from the writings of Raymond Moody. She gave teaching
on the “life reviews” that many report having had
during near-death experiences and explained how choices made during
a lifetime determine what level of the etheric or astral plane
one is assigned to after death.
She also taught on discarnates and the
“realm of bewildered spirits”; the consequences of
suicide; atonement and the law of karma. In her analysis of the
movie Flatliners, the Messenger discussed the psychology and near-death
experiences of the main characters. She gave instruction on forgiveness,
resolution and balancing karma; entities and addiction; and how
discarnate forces can cause physical injury. The lecture is available
on videocassette (165 min., GP91042) and on audiocassette (160
min., A91049)

Gandhi
His Triumph Changed The World Forever . . . I
was watching "Gandhi" recently, as I do every year or
two. It is inspirational to me. It tells the story of a man who
could not possibly win the battles he chose to fight, but did
anyway. There is no doubt that it is a propaganda film, funded
in part by the Indian government. It scrambles his chronology.
But, on the whole, it got the story right.
Mohandas K. Gandhi, a lawyer, was able to transform
Indian politics. He did this through force of
moral character and shrewd tactics that made every official response
either "Damned if we do; damned if we don't."
I read "The Gandhi Nobody Knows" when
it was published in 1983, a year before the movie was released.
I know the strange side of the man. But he mobilized a huge nation
without recourse to violence. That was his great legacy.
I also like the movie because it is the story
of a failed empire. By 1945, the British Empire had spent itself
into near bankruptcy because of two wars. It was a pale shadow
of itself. It would soon grow much paler.
There are many scenes
in the movie that have long grabbed my imagination, but none so
much as the one in which Gandhi is seated at a table with a British
military official. The official asks rhetorically, "You don't
really expect us just to march out of India, do you?" Gandhi
replies, "Yes, that is exactly what I expect you to do."
In 1947, they did.
Self-government is the wave of the future. Empire
isn't. That was Gandhi's message in 1915. It did not seem plausible
back then. By 1947, it did.

Patton
An excellent film whose focus is on the title character more than
anything else. George C. Scott (in his well-deserved Oscar-winning
role which he refused to accept) dominates in a way that has rarely
ever been seen in any film. The film examines Patton's role in
helping to defeat the Nazis in World War II Europe. Patton was
definitely a historical figure whose flamboyance and controversial
antics will likely be remembered more than his outstanding battlefield
leadership.

It isn't the faithful rendition of the material
alone that makes this movie so unique and wonderful. The broad
scope of emotions, the grand scale of the aristocracy's parties

Mr.

Playing music is supposed to be fun. It's about
heart, it's about feelings, moving people, and something beautiful,
and it's not about notes on a page. I can teach you notes on a

so that that knowledge doesn't go to waste.

Glenn Holland: Well, I guess you can cut the arts as much as you

It is a movie for a student of higher truths

The
Da Vinci Code
If the organized churches will not teach God's
true teachings, let the movies do it!
Dan Brown's book "The Da Vinci Code"
and the movie made after the book bacame the world's bestseller—have
shaken the roots of Christian beliefs. At last in one fell swoop
someone reached the whole world, both via the book—an
excellent thriller—and the
movie, with information about Jesus and Mary Magdalene's mutual
deep love, marriage and family.
No matter how many historical and dogmatic inaccuracies
are in the book and the film—this
one truth has shaken the world and polaized Christians and non-christians
alike: yes, Jesus did not ascend after his crucifixion but went
on to the Far East with Mary
Magdalene, whom he married and subsequently had a family with,
as well as a long and happy family life, until his death at the
age of 81.
The Catholic Church is up in arms to prove the
ultimate fallacy of the movie. There indeed is a major part devoted
to Opus Dei in Dan Brown's "The Da Vinci Code". Opus
Dei is a Vatican christian undercover organization of shady dealings
and exposing it publically is a sore point with the Catholics.
Well, literature and movie-making—especially
those which are called fiction or thrillers—have
a lot of poetic licence to offer and it is the discerning and
discriminating readers who are able to get all that is true out
of such and any literature.
For the general public and readership worldwide—the
door to the Aquarian Age regarding Jesus and his
twin flame, Mary Magdalene, has been opened by Dan Brown's
"The Da Vinci Code"! |

For the Discriminating
and Mature Lightbearers
(with major provisos) |
Choose Your Entertainment Discriminately . . . |
"And so I invite you to the retreat of El Morya where,
in his teaching on God-government, the Lord of the First
Ray reviews for his students the panorama of such histories
as show the great sacrifices that have been made for the
Light on this and other systems of worlds. Often the bard
takes into his chambers disciples who know not that they
will be shown these films.
"And as they sit watching—almost
as the proverbial watcher with the bag of popcorn watching
the movie and the intense excitement of the drama—the
guest in the chambers at Darjeeling suddenly sees among
the legions of Light that are marching before him his
own image, his own helmet, his own identity; and he exclaims,
'There I am on the screen, in the movies!' And by recollection
of the angels of record, he is aware that in past ages
there is a continuity of existence, of preexistence; and
he sees the saga of his own life, his own evolution.
"And thus scene after scene, display
after display, souls can observe how they have fought
and won, how they have sometimes fallen and then picked
themselves up again. Morya says not a word. He lets the
members of his audience pick themselves out unmistakably.
And then when they see those embodiments of which they
are just a little bit ashamed, there is that certain silence,
that certain squirming in the seat when the soul desires
not to be recognized by his peers.
"Precious hearts, at the close of
these moving pictures, classes are held; and Morya says
with a twinkle in his eye, 'Well, what did you learn?'
And slowly, a bit sheepishly, one by one the disciples
will say, 'Well, I say that I did this particular thing
in that embodiment, and I’m not too proud of it,
and I realize that I shouldn’t do it again.' And
so it goes. And gradually the disciples lose their pride,
lose their desire to hold close about them in the folds
of their tatters the dark deeds of the past.
"And by and by, everyone knows
everyone else’s business, everyone else’s
karma, everyone else’s triumphs and tragedies; and
soon there is a melding of hearts together in what is
known as a group mandala. And souls who have witnessed
their own ups and downs together bind themselves together
and pledge to go forth once again in the service of Hierarchy,
perhaps to come forth to build the Knights of the Round
Table, to dedicate themselves as of old to Arthur, the
great king and champion of the will of God and of the
chalice of our Lord."

The
Terminal
One thing has remained constant
. . . Spielberg's stubborn determination to take true stories
—World War II, slavery, a counterfeiting wiz, a stranded
immigrant—and turn them into feel-good mush says a
critic.
Not so—this is a film of voluminous
implicit meaning for a chela. If you have never lived
under communism, like Victor
Navorski does in this movie, or if you have never taken
the trouble to study this diabolical system or at least
understand it—you will not be able to appreciate
this gem of cinematography.
It is a parable
on abuse of power, while at the same time a skilful expose
of misplaced and erroneous concepts about citizens of
communist countries at large. In fact, the American power
representatives in this movie feel more like being communists
themselves.
Way to go, Spielberg!

"Some of you have wondered about that dark night. It is a
time that comes to every avatar, everyone on the path of the ascension.
It is the hour when the momentum of your devotion to the living
flame as concentrated energy here below in the aura must suffice
for the momentum of victory.
"It is the hour as in the final hour when
Jesus was on the cross—the hour of calling forth, 'My God,
my God, why hast thou forsaken me?' In that moment the cutting
off of that blessed one occurred so that he might prove his victorious
overcoming by light's momentum. That moment of separation from
the God Source can seem as an eternity and can be prolonged by
misunderstanding and misapplication.
"In that moment, in that hour of testing,
you must have on the wedding garment lest you attend the wedding
feast and the lord of the feast come unto you, saying, 'Friend,
how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? Bind him
hand and foot and take him away and cast him into outer darkness;
there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'
"Outer darkness is that space into which
the soul not having the momentum of light is cast in the hour
of testing, in the hour of the dark cycle that is the dark night
of the soul. Heed, then, the teaching of the Brothers of the Golden
Robe for your mastery of the aura and the auric light, for herein
is your opportunity to reinforce the light of the Causal Body
here below for the ultimate test of victory.
" . . . Let your light be as the corona of the sun in the
moment of the eclipse that is the dark night of the soul of the
planet. 'Let your light so shine before men that they may see
your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven.' So
let that light, as the light of Victory, reinforce the path of
overcoming and hold the balance for evolutions who come to this
point in time and space without the seamless garment."

|
"And when you have proven yourself
under fire and in many situations—untenable situations,
devastating situations—and have come out right side up,
we will know that we have a chela of the first order and we will
receive you that you might be anointed before the council in Darjeeling."

It is about the holocaust in Germany from

mystical turn greatly influenced Mel Gibson to choose him as Jesus
for "The Passion."

Man
of Steel
Ok, you really do have to have a Warsaw-pact historical/political
background when approaching this film, because it's compactly
interwoven into flashback sequences recalling various anti-commie
events (worker's movements and so on). And yes, that's mustachioed
Lech Walesa making a cameo.
If you have no idea what the Solidarnost movement
was read up before watching this. Of course, the emotional and
thus universal element is present (Maciek and Agnieska's love,
etc) but this is mostly a story of survival and determination
in the face of corruption and political hostilities.
Polish people took amazing steps against their
government as early as the late 60s, and here we see the triumphant
and climactic finish to these efforts. Wajda incorporates interesting
documentary footage within the film to make it more effective
and appealing to his audience.
See "Man of Iron" and feel nostalgia
for the times when Eastern Europe saw change as a forthcoming
and hopeful force. Classic. |

Last
of the Mohicans
I was blown away by the score, trully stunned,
considering that there were two composers who collaborated (Trevor
Jones and Randy Edelman). Neither of them is that high profiled
in terms of their works. But one of the things that I was amazed
about the score, was the consistency and cohesion between music
written by both composers. And also the centrality of the main
theme in the whole film and how it always seemed fresh and adaptive
throughout the course of the film.

Mystic
River
The movie shows how one allows evil to
destroy him, and even become suicidal. Once even his wife turned
on (lost faith in) him, he allowed his thread-thin contact with
his Presence to become completely severed. How about the reaction
of Sean Penn and his wife (Laura Linney) to Tim's wife (Marcia
Gae Hardin) and son at the parade, after they all discovered the
truth: they completely turned away from her . . . what else could
they do, after following her suspicion and murdering her husband
(other than the honorable thing: turn themselves in to police)?

Casualties
of War
It's the story of a diminutive lightbearer
who belatedly, but persistently, makes a stand for moral action
against rank and physical intimidation, including physical harm
and possible murder. Penn is superb in his role as the immoral,
all-too-human sergeant. Brilliant portrayal of how peer pressure,
relative power positions, insanely foreign circumstances and a
stronger will can bend and compromise the mercurial nature of
otherwise decent human beings.

The
Last Samurai
Not for the faint-hearted. If you have been at Thermopylae and
stood against the Spartans with Leonidas (embodiment of Serapis
Bey)you will like this movie . . .
"Thus, we direct your attention to the principle
of heading off the dark ones at the pass. And if you will be seated,
I will tell you about this pass. [For] I myself have had great
experiences of holding back the forces of evil at the pass in
the mountains. And I have seen it as an exercise and as an initiation
that must be forged and won by Lightbearers.
"Beloved ones, there comes a moment when
a group of individuals on earth realize that they alone stand
between oncoming hordes of darkness and their nation and their
planetary home. This realization has dawned upon you—and
upon some of you increasingly—until at this hour you have
come to recognize that the superiority of the Path of the Great
White Brotherhood, and especially of the path of the fourth ray,
has lent to you a Light, a Power, a Teaching and a Science whereby
you can stand on behalf of millions and invoke the Light and see
the results and see the response of angels and beings of cosmos
who have stood between mankind and descending calamity.
"Thus, the principle of “heading them
off at the pass” is the principle of stopping the eruption
out of the astral plane into the physical plane of great darkness—darkness
that is planned in secret as conspiracy and plot against humanity,
darkness that does not want to be unveiled or exposed, darkness
that comes from extraterrestrials hovering and who have also taken
embodiment, darkness such as sudden war or economic difficulties,
diseases that come seemingly out of nowhere, of which Halley’s
comet has become the harbinger.
"Beloved ones, there are messengers from
the Sun. Some of them are typified in comets. But there are angels
who come whether or no there is a comet to be seen in the sky.
Such an angel is Gabriel of the fourth ray, the angel of the annunciation.
To him I bid you call that you might have the realization from
his heart aforetime of those things that are planned to erupt
out of the astral plane as they come with sudden destruction as
the return of planetary karma."
Note:
* Leonidas. In the fifth century B.C., Serapis
Bey was embodied as Leonidas, the Spartan king honored throughout
history for his courageous spirit in the face of insurmountable
odds. In 480 B.C. Leonidas commanded the Greeks in their heroic
stand against the immense Persian invasion at the pass of Thermopylae—gateway
to central Greece. Before the attack, it was reported that when
the Persians shot their bows, the arrows darkened the sky. In
response, one of the Spartans cried: “Then we’ll fight
in the shade!” Leonidas, with 300 Spartans and about 6,000
Greek allies, resisted the advance of the Persian army under King
Xerxes for two days. On the third day, when the Persians approached
from the rear and no reinforcements were in sight, Leonidas dismissed
most of his troops, and he and his 300-member Spartan royal guard
fought to the last man.

"We remember! We remember Sparta and Thermopylae, and so
should you. Will you be the thousand or two thousand or five or
ten [of whom it will be said,] "They held the pass"?
"What is this pass, after all, beloved? Is it not the pass
that you hold and do not give up and maintain that is the means
whereby many evolutions may pass over into the Mystery School,
into the Teaching, into self-mastery? Consider, then, that you
hold the pass for evolutions who are not yet ready for the sacrifices
required and who do not particularly desire the victory that is
to be gained."

America,
America
(1963), Elia Kazan's great movie, which was nominated for the
Oscar in 1964. Kazan tells a fictionalized version of his Greek
uncle's emigration to America. Kazan's family followed in 1913.
The movie begins with a Greek and an Armenian, friends, who are
warned by their former military officer, a Turk, of trouble coming.
It comes. Turkish officials lock the Armenian along with other
Armenians inside a church. Then they burn it down. The Greek sees
this. He vows to get out of the Ottoman Empire and go to America.
The movie traces his journey. America was a sanctuary. (http://shurl.org/sanctuary)
If ever there was a movie on America, the sanctuary, it's "America,
America." |

The
Passion of the Christ
'I humbly submit my personal opinion, that this
movie has already, on its opening night, changed
the world for me.'
I sent this comment to a friend and he responded:
"Oh, thanks! You mean it was not
too gory to endure? That's what some of us worry about."
was my friend's response.
Here is my answer:
You are welcome . . . I guess we need to define
the word 'gory.' For those who had the humblest
of opportunities to be repeatedly beaten and imprisoned by the
KGB under communism—seeing this film is indeed a refresher
course in balance, if not poise. One immediately comes off the
high mountain (or a horse) of having been persecuted and suffered
for freedom.
It therefore would (or might) be a very healing
experience for these particular evolutions that I can speak for.
Glory to God! As for others—forgive my inexcusable ignorance
regarding their feelings or possible emotions. After all - movie
theaters in USA (unlike prisons and torture chambers under communism)
have exit lights, so try a seat by the door .
Here is what Saint Germain might add to the
subject of being persecuted voluntarily and without a karmic reason:
"[Poles] are fervent seventh-ray
people. They have come to earth with the charge of Sanat Kumara
to maintain the light of freedom. Voluntarily they went under
the enslavement of the Soviet boot for the very purpose of proving
that free hearts will never say die.
"Blessed ones, it may be calculated that the Communist government
of the USSR cannot tolerate further encroachments upon their entire
mechanism, but it may also be said that the light-bearers of the
world will not tolerate further encroachment upon their heart
flames! The immovable object and the Rock of Christ—do not
close your eyes to the inevitable encounter . . .
"I recall you to the great truth
that there is a line where light and darkness must meet. And the
line may very well be the line of the people of Poland because,
in this hour, they are the most daring and intrepid chelas of
my heart.
"Realize the great truth, then—and
do not close your eyes, do not close your eyes!—that there
are people upon earth, namely the Polish people, who will prove
to the world, as Jesus Christ did, that it is better for some
to give a public example of the crucifixion than for all to go
down
beneath the boot of World Communism."

The
Yogis of Tibet
' . . . once vowed to extreme secrecy to maintain
the purity of their practices . . . However, 'they agreed to these
unique interviews and rare demonstrations to help preserve for
posterity their vanishing culture.' Snow Lion Publications' Jeff
Cox says that this video is 'Remarkable! . . . A moving experience
to watch these hermits speak so openly . . . The first film to
explore this unique subject matter in such depth." One yogi
tells of his moving experience with Padma Sambhava.
Contacting Beloved Padma Sambhava is crucial
now, as a Pearl endnote reminds us—
"According to tradition, Padma Sambhava taught that his Golden
Mantra [Om Ah Hum Vajra Guru Padma Siddhi Hum] should be used
in a coming time of troubles, during which warfare, disease and
poverty would increase. He said the mantra would be an antidote
to the confusion and frustration of that dark age.
In a dictation given on New Year's Eve 1991,
beloved Durga said: 'How very close to you and this Messenger
is Padma Sambhava. Therefore, do not neglect his mantra, . . .
Om Ah Hum Vajra Guru Padma Siddhi Hum. It is your key at this
level of service for the entering in to the hearts of all those
Buddhas and Bodhisattvas whose lineage goes back to the Great
Central Sun, back to the heart of the Godhead'" (1992 PoW,
p. 48.)

Sakharov
co-produced with HBO by Herbert Brodkin and Robert
Berger, written by David Rintels.
"I previewed for you recently a movie which
is most essential to give a dynamic picture of what is at hand.
It is a movie on Andrei Sakharov covering his years from 1968
to 1984. This movie was put out last year. I never heard of it,
but it is in our possession today. And it shows this man's determination
to take a stand for freedom and for witnessing. The greatest physicist
the Soviet Union has ever produced, who invented for the Soviet
Union the hydrogen bomb, is now confined and in poor health with
his wife in Gorki—a city closed
to all outsiders.
"The systematic dethroning of this man,
one of the highest and key figures in the entire country, is almost
like the systematic destruction of the lightbearers of this country.
The same tactics are used, the same disinformation, the use of
the press, the assembling of forces against the freedom fighter
or the lightbearer by the spreading of false information to ultimately
steer public opinion against the individual so that when the state
takes action against him they will have the vote of the people
behind them by their planned prior indoctrination. This movie
shows the insidiousness of World Communism and yet it shows that
the system can be beat by the individual and by the forces of
Light such as those that gathered with Sakharov and his wife.
"It shows that this state of consciousness
is a creeping cancer on the face of the earth and, though it may
not be called Communism, the same force is abroad in America today
with public acceptance, and that the totalitarianism of the forces
of the astral plane are present as we view them whether in their
blatant abuse of the power of the media and the sacred freedom
of the press or in the taking of land or the manipulation of our
money and in many other areas such as the labor unions. And I
am sure we can name them—from
the rock culture to drugs to what is working to break down society
in the absence of respect for our leaders and in the type of unseemly
behavior some of them engage in or in the spinelessness that Archangel
Michael commented on.
"What we see, then, is that the individual
can stand and still stand. But in the end, if there is not a movement
and a revolution behind him, although he has made his statement
and he has won the Nobel Peace Prize, that individual is still
confined to Gorki and for all intents and purposes is silenced
because he stands alone as Thomas More and Becket and Francis
Bacon and Jesus and Gautama have also stood alone."

St.
Clare of Assisi and the Poor Clares
“St. Clare of Assisi” reveals the
extraordinary life of St. Clare, a woman who reached the highest
summits of Christian mysticism, who knew how to defend her decisions
alone and who built a social reality that still challenges the
centuries.
Along with medieval harmonies composed
by Oscar-winning musicians, the exquisite photography explores
all of the sacred places in and around Assisi that characterize
the life of Clare and that of Francis. The testimony of a Poor
Clare in the 40-minute documentary, moreover, exemplifies the
figure of Clare in today’s world. |
