" . . . I want you to know that it
was through the efforts of K-17, Lanello, and me
that Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn was exiled to the West rather than executed.
I want you to know that we were able to work this work of light
because we had energy to use . . . "—Godfre, February

"The distortion that drove into
China and India thru the priesthood was the thing which makes
the deplorable condition there today. In Tibet the fanaticism
has grown so great that but for our knowledge of the great cosmic
light and its refining purifying activity there would be but
little hope for the restoration of that once great nation. Still
you shall all see the great change which will take place in
the next hundred years there. Try not to feel human responsibility,
but place all of the responsibility in the hands of your Mighty
I AM Presence knowing it is all-powerful to direct, to protect
and to regulate all that is required—remember! Everyone
must regulate his own life. We must handle the people as children
and just be patient."
|
|
"Thus it is the new dispensation of Aquarius. Thus it is understood
that there must be a new definition of freedom of religion. There
must be a new understanding by those who founded this nation and have
moved forward in their Protestantism, in their Catholicism, and in
their Judaism that in this hour none may have a monopoly on the path
of religious freedom, that the way made plain must be acknowledged
to be made plain by the one God and the I AM Presence of that individual
and the beloved Holy Christ Self.
"This Higher Mind, beloved ones, does lead the soul into all
Truth step by step in the seven rainbow rays. Thus, the paths of
enlightenment by the Holy Spirit in this age, prophesied by the
Lord Christ, come unto the individual, each one according to his
need, his ancient karma, his preparation in the school of life,
his initiations of spiritual fire that have taken place in the inner
retreats of the Great White Brotherhood."
|
|
"Beloved ones, those who serve in the retreats of the
Great White Brotherhood, who have passed from the screen of
life and now serve in this Community, who have been in the
I AM movement, who have been in The Summit Lighthouse—these
ones, beloved, are as close to you as the person sitting next
to you. Yet they are robed in garments of light.
"They go to various chambers where,
for instance, they repeat mantras for the healing of fear,
for the setting aright of the out-of-alignment state that
they, like you and others, have allowed themselves to get
into. Think, then, that in this moment you may be but a seat
away from an initiate!"
|
|
"I call all of the faithful worldwide
to action now for Saint Germain.
" . . . Let us march with God
Harmony. Let us march to our own tune and not that of the
pied piper of restlessness, procrastination and self-concern.
Let us see what life will afford those who give their lives,
and give them ultimately in a spiritual sense."
|
|
" . . . Let it simply be asked, where
is the security for property, for reputation, for life, if the
sense of religious obligation desert the oaths, which are the
instruments of investigation in courts of justice? And let us
with caution indulge the supposition that morality can be maintained
without religion. Whatever may be conceded to the influence
of refined education on minds of peculiar structure, reason
and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality
can prevail in exclusion of religious principles. It is substantially
true that virtue or morality is a necessary spring of popular
government. The rule, indeed, extends with more or less force
to every species of free government. Who, that is a sincere
friend to it, can look with indifference upon attempts to shake
the foundation of the fabric?
|
|
" . . . And the two thousand year dispensation of Jesus
Christ is fulfilled in this hour through every one of you
who does understand that the culmination of that mission and
the fullness of that cup is to go all the way in the stand
for freedom.
" . . . Some men have neutralized their
sensitivity to the voice of God and conscience, for they desire
not the living truth; they desire not the living truth, beloved
ones, because they prefer their ways. They prefer the darkness
to the light, for their deeds are evil (John 3:19). Thus this
is the searing of conscience as with a hot iron (1Tim. 4:1-2),
as the Apostle said. And they no longer respond to the voice
within, and therefore they make their own rules, regulations
and laws. They have become a law unto themselves and raised
on high the banner of their human standards of right and wrong.
Thus, beloved, let the whole stream of ideas, actions and
the consequences thereof be examined.
" . . . Their prayers of malintent,
their false pastors—in so far as they encroach upon
others' freedom—must also be broken . . . if any part
or portion of the Ascended Masters Teaching should be denied
you and prohibited as church councils have done in past ages,
if the Messenger should not have freedom from fear to be the
instrument of whatever we may say concerning personal and
planetary conditions, then beloved, your loss of a part of
this freedom becomes the loss of the whole. Only the whole
wafer can make you free; only the whole body of the mystical
teachings of the Lord Christ is sufficient.
" . . . Thus protection comes
to you when the whole man is made whole through harmony, through
obedience to all of God's laws."
|
|
"To be your brothers' keeper, then, I come. And this
plan taken to heart by the few will bring the world to that
place whereinstead of the Luciferian concept and execution
of the United Nations there shall be one family, one
body of God and one body of Christ upon Terra. and only then
can Terra enter into the Golden Age of the Christ consciousness.
"This is the opportunity of the
hour and I seal the symbol in your forehead: to be our brothers'
keeperof this mission and of this pledge, that within
your very soul you may be reminded each day that there are
millions, who require your support and the strong arm of the
Brotherhood, which can be given only through your invocations."
|
|
"And what about those chelas on the Path who are a part
of the I AM movement so dear to my heart. Why have they rejected
this messenger? Why have they failed to come when I have appealed
to their hearts? I ask you to pray for them. I ask you to pray
for those children of the light who must understand that the
nature of [the relationship between] the chela and the guru
is obedience, but it is also understanding. The chela must also
weigh the Law and weigh the principles of the Law and come to
his own conclusions. The chela must understand that a certain
teaching given through the messengers may change because of
changing conditions in the world. "Saint
Germain had a great plan for America, and if the children
of light had responded to that plan there would not be a need
to have further messengers. But the need is great. Hierarchy
has acted. Hierarchy is not limited by doctrine or dogma or
prophecy or even its own previous statements on the Law.
" . . . Yes, I AM God-free! But
I will never rest until you are God-free, until America is
God-free! Precious ones, if you will but take that fervor
of the early patriots who knew that all of the future and
all of life and the future of freedom on the earth depended
upon their staying powerif you will take that fervor,
you will save America and we will win for God together. We
expect victory!"
|
|
"I have the attainment from Atlantis
of having been a scientist, beloved, and I have employed the
methods of precipitation for ten thousand years and more.
I seek to show you how to bring into manifestation the Light
from realms above. I seek to show you many things whereby
you may better organize yourselves, make better use of time
and energy, and have greater access to the consciousness of
your I AM Presence.
"I come with my twin flame in
this hour, beloved, for we work together in this service.
We worked with the students of the I AM when Godfre and Lotus
were serving this nation. We continue to work with all students
who will diligently invoke the violet flame."
|
|
"Know this, beloved, that there is a moment—and this
is that moment—to decide that you and you alone can move
as a Joan of Arc, as an Edna Ballard (who was incarnated as
Joan of Arc). But, beware, devotion to an honorable cause may
not be enough to achieve your victory. You must stay attuned
to the voice of your Holy Christ Self and the ascended hosts.
"Now learn from the example
of the Maid of Orleans. She was within a hair’s breadth
of a victorious mission when, counter to the warnings of her
inner 'voices,' she attacked a town that harbored French loyalists
to England. They betrayed her and allowed the English to entrap
her. The French king responded to the English demands for
her ransom with a mere ho-hum. He no longer had any use for
this Maid of Orleans, though she had given her all for him.
"Ironically, her ransom was finally
paid by her enemies in the Church. But they wanted her solely
for vengeance, and their devious machinations reached their
denouement on May 30, 1431 when she was burned at the stake.
At the last, Archangel Michael instructed her to inhale the
smoke
that her pain not be protracted, whereupon her soul took flight
to higher realms.
"Blessed ones, those were the times
when people decided to wage war and win. It was clear-cut.
And although Joan of Arc caused her own downfall by her failure
to follow her inner guides, she did not deny her tie to them
at her trial. On the contrary, she went to the stake defending
her right to direct communion with God."
|
|
"In my final life as Francis Bacon I endeavored to set
forth, as I was able, those keys to the destiny of America
that each and every one of you hold, as members of the I AM
Race, within the nucleus of your heart in a very precious
golden box that is upon the altar of your temple. There, in
the heart of Life, are the secrets of the ages and the mysteries
which I have come to unveil.
"I AM indeed the one anointed as the
seventh angel in this dispensation, come for the finishing
of the mystery of God! Blessed ones, the unveiling of those
mysteries through beloved Godfre and Lotus and through your
own messengers has come to an hour of fulfillment for many—and
to the hour of beginning for others among you . . . Therefore,
the messengers assemble. And the three ascended form the action
of the Trinity as the one who remains in the physical octave
focuses the Light of the Mother. See, then, how the miracle
of Mighty Victory and of the threefold flame continues the
mission in an unbroken stream of light.
" . . . And I have also sealed, in that
golden box upon the altar of the Light-bearers, those teachings
of the I AM—those teachings inscribed in those three
books dictated to beloved Godfre and set forth by the twin
flames of their messengership . . . You can see the short
cycles which transpired unto the hour of the victory of the
ascension of beloved Godfre. And that experience in the Royal
Teton Retreat was one of the very important keys to that activity
which led to the ascension of beloved Godfre, truly who came
and gave his life and laid it down and took it up again. Though
mere mortals did not see, yet he was and is resurrected and
ascended in the Light and therefore walked the path of the
crucifixion, the resurrection, and the ascension which we
continue to celebrate in these forty days following the resurrection
of the Lord Jesus Christ.
" . . . Therefore, I bow before the
Light of every saint in heaven, for they continue to release
the essence of the sacred fire to infuse this mystical body
of God upon earth with that Light which is necessary for the
conclusion of this mission of Light! My blessed ones, I come
with a mighty fervor! I come to reinstill in you the love
and the desire to know those first steps of Truth, those fundamental
principles of the Law. Therefore, I commend Keepers of the
Flame in this activity to reread in these days the first three
books of the I AM activity—the Unveiled Mysteries, The
Magic Presence, and The 'I AM' Discourses—that you will
have the realization of the Path that has been carved for
you and the Path that you are continuing in these days of
acceleration of Light and the outcropping of darkness.
" . . . I come to remind you that in
the hour of the release of great Light of the ascension of
Godfre, war and the engines of war as they had never been
seen upon earth were moving through Europe. And therefore,
he took that ascension as the supreme sacrifice for the victory
of America. Therefore, the holding of the line of the twin
flame Lotus through those years was the 'as-above-so-below'
necessary.
" . . . If you will study those three
books, you will realize and see that the dispensations and
teachings that were given were such a threat to the fallen
ones that they evolved entire systems —from marijuana
to sensitivity training to all sorts of experimentations with
the human body and the chakras—to siphon off the light,
to deter souls of Light from their I AM Presence, to take
from them that energy of the crown chakra and of the heart
and of the Word itself, to divert it, to amplify and amplify
again the miscreations of the lower chakras. And therefore
we have seen the rise of genetic engineering and pollution
by the misuse of the light of chemistry, which again is the
misuse of the light of Alpha and Omega in the fiery core of
every atom of Matter substance.
" . . . Beloved hearts, realize that
great darkness came over the I AM activity in the years that
have gone by and it has dwindled. And it was put down by the
media, by the press. And the bearing of the battles of the
Supreme Court by beloved Lotus shall not be forgot by those
of us who are ascended. Therefore, it came to pass that we
transferred the mantle to this activity of light that there
could be a new burst of freedom and a resurrection of those
teachings, even the resurrection of those teachings of the
I AM activity and the new dispensations of teachings brought
by these messengers.
"Therefore, beloved hearts, you
see that the fulfillment of that prophecy of Lotus—that
there is yet the intent of viciousness coming forth in America—is
for this hour."

Saint Germain contacted Guy W. Ballard in August, 1930, on
the side of Mount Shasta, northern California, and began his
training as a messenger for the Great White Brotherhood. Mr.
Ballard was chosen by Saint Germain because of his previous
association with the master as George Washington and his preparation
for this role in this and many other incarnations. Demonstrating
the science of precipitation directly from the ‘universal’
and the transformation of his own physical appearance, Saint
Germain delivered to the one whose inner name was Godfre the
first of many discourses on the I AM Law of Life and the limitless
power of the great God Self within every person.
To illustrate the law of karma, Saint Germain
escorted his student in their finer bodies to localities where
he had lived in past embodiments. By revivifying the akashic
records, Saint Germain reviewed for Godfre important lessons
in cosmic law from certain experiences in these past lives,
hence accelerating his enlightenment on the Path and reestablishing
their age-old relationship. Godfre learned that seventy thousand
years ago, Saint Germain had been the king-emperor of a great
golden-age civilization which existed where the Sahara Desert
now is, and that he and his wife, Edna Ballard, and their
son, Donald, were embodied as his children there.
Under his enlightened reign, the entire civilization
knew an era of peace, abundance, and accomplishment in commerce,
education, and the arts and sciences. No government since
that time has even approached the achievements of this divinely
directed administration. For hundreds of years, harmony among
peoples was the law of the land without the need for enforcement
by any armed forces. The authority of the affairs of state
was vested in Fourteen Ascended Masters, two governing on
each of the seven rays of the Christ light, with fourteen
lesser masters in charge of the seven departments of government.
Gold was in widespread use among the people
for its vitalizing energy and its purifying and balancing
electronic force. It was never hoarded but widely distributed
because, as precipitated sunlight, its radiant energy served
to purify and elevate the spiritual consciousness of the people
and balance the natural forces of the earth. Many of the more
advanced souls had full conscious use of the powers vested
in them as sons of God, and they were able to directly precipitate
gold and precious jewels in large quantities for use as focuses
of light.
However, a portion of the people gradually
became more interested in the gratification of the outer senses
than in fulfilling the divine plan of the golden age, causing
them to lose their powers of God-mastery. Saint Germain, as
the king, realized that it was therefore no longer the divine
plan to sustain his reign. He was subsequently advised by
those of higher spiritual authority to withdraw. He then held
a banquet for his chief councilors and their staff to announce
this decision, and there a cosmic master appeared from out
the Great Silence and addressed the entire assembly.
The master warned them of the dire consequences
of turning away from the great God Source to satiate the endless
desires of the outer self and prophesied that the empire would
disintegrate unless the people returned to the worship of
the light within and obeyed the Law of the One—love.
Seven days later, the king and the royal family were taken
by the cosmic master to the Golden Etheric City of Light over
the Sahara, and without the sponsorship of the ascended masters
the empire gradually declined.
Two thousand years later when the empire
had become barren and desolate, a great cataclysm ensued,
creating an inland sea that submerged the land. After twelve
thousand years another earth change drained the land, and
later a portion of it became the present Sahara Desert. Today
the people of that ancient civilization have reembodied in
America. As a nation they are destined to rise once again,
to recognize the Real Self within, and to reestablish a great
spiritual culture under the tutelage and leadership of their
king, Saint Germain, and the Fourteen Ascended Masters who
today govern the destiny of America.
To continue the training of Godfre, Saint
Germain next took him to the Royal Teton Retreat located in
the Teton Range in the state of Wyoming. In this physical
retreat of the Great White Brotherhood presided over by the
Ascended Master Lanto (whose administrative and executive
responsibilities have since been assumed by Lord Confucius),
Godfre was shown the great hidden activities of the ascended
masters and their councils, instructed in the sacred mysteries
of life, and shown on the Cosmic Mirror the past records of
the rise and fall of civilizations on Lemuria, Atlantis, in
the Gobi and Sahara deserts, in Egypt, Rome, England, and
Europe.
Here he received the prophecy and the vision
that America would soon become the very heart of a golden
age. At Yellowstone Park, at the ruins of the Inca civilization
in Mexico and Peru, and in the buried cities of the Amazon,
Saint Germain awakened the memory of additional embodiments
and past records, including the great golden-age civilization
in South America under the Ascended Master Casimir Poseidon,
all the while instructing and explaining the working out of
cosmic law and divine destiny.
For the next stage of preparation, Godfre
was brought into contact with other embodied disciples of
Saint Germain–Daniel, Rex, and Nada Rayborn, Bob and
Pearl Singleton, David Southerland, Alexander Gaylord, and
Zara and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Livingston—and together
they performed various missions in the service of the Brotherhood
as they journeyed to other retreats for advanced training:
to Eriel’s retreat at the Secret Valley in Arizona,
to Saint Germain’s retreat at the Cave of Symbols in
Wyoming, to the subterranean Arabian Retreat, to the Retreat
of the Master of Paris, to the home of El Morya in Darjeeling,
to Chananda’s Palace of Light, and finally to the Cave
of Light in India. At the Cave of Light, the Great Divine
Director—who had trained Saint Germain, Jesus, Kuthumi,
and many other illustrious ascended masters—granted
a special dispensation whereby two years of inner-retreat
activity was accomplished in just two days of intense purification.
Following this transcendent experience, Godfre
and a special group of disciples were commissioned as true
messengers of the Great White Brotherhood. All of these experiences
are recorded by Guy Ballard under the pen name Godfre Ray
King in his books Unveiled Mysteries and The Magic Presence
(Chicago: Saint Germain Press, 1934, 1935). Saint Germain
and other ascended masters, including Jesus, Himalaya, Nada,
Cha Ara, and Arcturus, gave to the Messenger Guy Ballard in
the early 1930s a series of discourses on the use of the great
creative word I AM and the individualized I AM Presence.
Thirty-three of these were published in the
book The “I AM” Discourses. Using a light and
sound ray and at times visibly standing in the room, Saint
Germain released the power of tremendous rays of light as
confirming evidence of the authenticity of this instruction.
For thousands of years the inner understanding of the word
I AM had been restricted to the retreats of the Great White
Brotherhood and given only after a three-year probation. But
because of the exigencies of the hour and the urgent need
of the children of God on earth for greater assistance, the
dispensation was granted Saint Germain for this teaching to
be given to the world at large. In The “I AM”
Discourses Saint Germain explained that the word I AM releases
the full power of God in action.
It is the first expression of every self-conscious
being. I AM is the purest and highest principle of life, the
Presence, the universal intelligence ever endeavoring to bring
forth the expression of the original pristine state of the
Godhead. Saint Germain stated that if one would daily train
the outer senses to be still for but five minutes three times
a day and then call the mighty I AM Presence into action,
all the proof that one could desire of its power and reality
would be forthcoming.
In addition to the knowledge and invocation of the I AM Presence,
Saint Germain taught Mr. Ballard the need for the God-control
of thoughts and feelings, the law of reembodiment, the use
of constructive desire to accomplish good, how to project
consciousness out from bodily limitations, the correct techniques
of meditation and visualization, the Law of the One, and the
use of mighty rays of light in the service of the ascended
msaters. One of the most important teachings was on the use
of the violet consuming flame. Saint Germain explained that
by calling to the mighty I AM Presence to release this action
of the sacred fire, one could purify the mind and body of
unnecessary substances which hinder the flow of light, thus
clearing the consciousness to receive greater illumination.
For many centuries this knowledge was also
taught only in the retreats of the Great White Brotherhood.
Now with the setting aside of the occult (“that which
was kept hidden”) dispensation and the bringing forth
of this instruction, students throughout the world can benefit
from the application of this teaching. The master also explained
why so many past civilizations had been destroyed by cataclysm.
He said that although Nature is itself inherently pure and
harmonious, it can tolerate only so much of man’s imposition
of vicious and destructive energies before they must, by cosmic
law, be returned.
Then the self-purifying, protective mechanism
inherent in Nature throws back to man, through cataclysmic
activity, the full weight of his past miscreation, destroying
and burying the records of iniquity and leaving myth and tradition
as the only visible remnant of so many past ages. Now the
ascended masters would again teach mankind the constructive
use of knowledge that will bring about the perfect cooperation
of the great inner forces of Nature. Completing this round
of service for his master, Mr. Ballard took his ascension
on December 31, 1939, leaving Mrs. Ballard to carry on the
work as messenger until her own ascension on February 12,
1971.
In order to continue the work begun by these
faithful disciples of the Aquarian master, the Ascended Master
El Morya contacted his chelas Mark and Elizabeth Prophet and
trained them as messengers to serve under Saint Germain, founding
The Summit Lighthouse in 1958 to publish the teachings of
the ascended masters as Pearls of Wisdom, weekly letters sent
to their chelas throughout the world. Thus the open door to
octaves of light is maintained and the progressive revelation
of the ascended masters continues to be released.
On February 26, 1973,
Mark L. Prophet made his ascension and passed the full mantle
of the authority of the Great White Brotherhood to his twin
flame, Elizabeth, who is now bringing the word and the radiation
of the ascended and unascended masters of East and West to
America and to all who have heard the inner call of Saint
Germain to bring in the great golden age.

"Why, beloved ones, in 1930, when
the violet flame was given forth, I was there. I AM Saint
Germain. That Saint Germain, myself, has now given that flame
to the entire world. And do you think, beloved, that the entire
world has taken it? Well, it hasn’t taken it yet, beloved,
but we will see to it that they will do it one way or another,
for the earth depends upon it."

|
"Tonight I am particularly conscious of the magnificent
service of your Mother Mary. I am particularly conscious of
the service of Saint Teresa [of Avila] and I am particularly
conscious of the service of Jeanne d’Arc. You see then,
precious ones, that mankind has been served, in many cases,
by the feminine ray, although masculine leaders are often
more popular, perhaps because they have a bit more dash and
verve."

"Some of you remember well the story of Joan of Arc. You remember
the burden upon her, and you know that I was with her and led her.
And you must realize that if the Maid of Orléans can come
forth and lead armies, then you, precious hearts, surely can do
anything—surely, in your faith in God and the conviction of
his promises, you can do anything."

" I see him * kneeling in prayer, praying on behalf of America.
And I see legions from the God Star Sirius hearken to the prayers
of the general. I see how the words spoken from his lips on that
cold day in the wood were heard by the mighty Blue Eagle of Sirius,
who responded instantaneously —these legions of light who
made their way, encamping round about him and among the men and,
by the infusion of that God-light, securing the victory.
" . . . Above all, I ask you, Keepers of the
Flame, to kneel in prayer once a day with Godfre and with me before
you retire and to remember to call for the victory of light in America
and in the hearts of the American people. And I can assure you by
all that lives and breathes, by all that is holy in love, the mighty
Blue Eagle from Sirius will answer your call and will deliver this
nation as one nation under God—individed, undivided, secure
in the oneness of the light."

" . . . religious freedom as a flame . . . must penetrate where
old thought systems sought to limit this divine experience between
a man and his God. It must fill the space of the babble of voices
and the many who have written their scholarly works defining what
is a dangerous cult and what is not.
" . . . Beloved ones, houses of worship, as
institutions of learning and all public places, must have door opened
where pople may enter if they choose and leave if they choose. As
the Archangel Gabriel has said, it is the responsibility of parents
and teachers to teach children how to think, how to reason, how
to draw a series of conclusions from premises at hand but not to
indoctrinate them, not to point the finger and prejudice their minds
from early youth.
" . . . The tests (of divine Love) are spiritual ones. They
leave the moorings and the support systems of all of the rules and
regulations of the world and they bring you directly to the heart
of Christ—not what he would do but what he did do.
" . . . Christianity has gained a right
to religious freedom. But those who dare say there is more, those
who dare take mankind all the way to Golgotha and Bethany's hill—these
must be protected."
|
|
"O blessed ones, just think of it. You are not called to go
to war, to go into battle where you may lose your life or even give
your life in honor and nobility. You are not called to leave your
families or the comforts of home or even your jobs but only to be
at this sanctuary daily if you can. For it is vital in this hour
that our sanctuaries be full worldwide and such power be invoked
as to test the very limits of heaven as to what heaven will do for
the raising up of Freedom.
"Blessed hearts, I come with my joy,
my threefold flame, my spirit, and I say, Let us give it all we’ve
got! Let us give all of our might, all of our love, all of our desire,
all that we might have given in past lives but have not, all that
we say we shall give in this life and in the next. Let us give it
now!"

"When you call forth from the Great Central Sun as well as your
Mighty I AM Presence and the Ascended Host, the Great Central Suns’
Heart Flame’s Love of Indestructible Purity, and demand it fill
everything in your being and world with Its Almighty Perfection forever,
and then is established around you and wherever you go, it keeps consuming,
consuming, consuming the hordes of evil; and then you become the Illumining
Presence of the Mighty I AM—Its Almighty Outpouring of anything
and everything It wishes to accomplish through you, wherever It moves
you in outer physical conditions."

How America was saved during World War II
By Herbert Beigel 1914 - 2005
My family lived in a small town outside Chicago. Growing up
I always prayed to Jesus to put me in the right religion and
as a result he brought me to the book Unveiled Mysteries by
the Messenger of the "I AM" Activity, Guy Ballard
(pen name "Godfre Ray King").
So I came into the "I AM" Activity
three months after Guy W. Ballard ascended. The "I AM"
Activity is the same Teaching as The Summit Lighthouse except
that they are much stricter. It's very intense and there are
stronger rules. If you don't keep up your decree momentum,
you're out and you have to start all over. The whole purpose
of their work is to keep you radiating up into the Light!
By 1942 World War II was full on. Members
of the "I AM" Activity were in the sanctuary decreeing
every evening until 11 or midnight for three and a half years.
And the Messenger, Edna Ballard, was always there leading.
We decreed standing up and couldn't sit down. There were no
days off.
We decreed for hours every night except on Fridays. Every
Friday we had a Musicale from morning to night and there were
songs all day long. Lotus was a professional harpist and could
play the gold harp and a Nova chord that was a cross between
a piano and an organ.
On Musicale Day Lotus started playing at
6 am and I officiated. She would play until midnight and never
leave the altar. She never left to eat or use the restroom,
but she did drink pitchers of water and held it in. She was
a powerful woman!
We were told by the Masters that with our
decrees we stopped the war four years early and kept this
country from going into a dictatorship, which was already
planned.
So if you think it takes too much effort
to go to a service once or twice or three times a week, think
about what sacrifices were made for you and your loved ones
by the members of the "I AM" Activity.

"The preservation of the sacred fire of
liberty, and the destiny of the republican model of government, are
justly considered as deeply, perhaps as finally, staked on the experiment
entrusted to the hands of the American People."—George
Washington, his First Inaugural Address, April 30, 1789
"The propitious smiles of Heaven can never
be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order
and right, which Heaven itself has ordained."—George Washington
"His integrity was most pure, his justice the most inflexible.
I have ever known, no motives of interest or consanguinity, of friendship
or hatred, being able to bias his decision. He (George Washington)
was indeed, in every sense of the words, a wise, a good, and a great
man." —Thomas Jefferson
"[I]f you speak of solid information
and sound judgement, Colonel Washington is, unquestionably the greatest
man on that floor."—Patrick
Henry
"The Constitution which at any time exists,
'till changed by an explicit and authentic act of the whole People
is sacredly obligatory upon all."—George Washington
"It should be the highest ambition
of every American to extend his views beyond himself, and to bear
in mind that his conduct will not only affect himself, his country,
and his immediate posterity;
but that its influence may be co-extensive with the world, and stamp
political happiness or misery on ages yet unborn."—George
Washington
"There is but one straight course, and that is to seek truth
and pursue it steadily."—George
Washington
"Let it simply be asked where is the security
for property, for reputation, for life, if the sense of religious
obligation desert the oaths, which are the instruments of investigation
in the Courts of Justice? And let us with caution indulge the opposition,
that morality can be maintained without religion. Whatever may be
conceded to the influence of refined education on minds of peculiar
structure, reason and experience both forbid us to expect that National
morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle."—George
Washington
"Labor to keep alive in your breast that
little spark of celestial fire called conscience."—George
Washington
"Let me now take a more comprehensive view,
and warn you in the most solemn manner against the baneful effects
of the Spirit of Party generally . . . A fire not to be quenched,
it demands a uniform vigilance to prevent its bursting into a flame,
lest, instead of warming, it should consume." —George Washington
"It is the duty of all Nations to acknowledge the providence
of Almighty God, to obey his will, to be grateful for his benefits,
and humbly to implore his protection and favors."—George
Washington
"I now make it my earnest prayer, that
God would have you, and the State over which you preside, in his holy
protection, that he would incline the hearts of the Citizens to cultivate
a spirit of subordination and obedience to Government, to entertain
a brotherly affection and love for one another, for their fellow Citizens
of the United States at large, and particularly for their brethren
who have served in the Field, and finally, that he would most graciously
be pleased to dispose us all, to do Justice, to love mercy, and to
demean ourselves with that Charity, humility and pacific temper of
mind, which were the Characteristicks of the Divine Author of our
blessed Religion, and without an humble imitation of whose example
in these things, we can never hope to be a happy Nation." —George
Washington
"Almighty God; We make our earnest prayer
that Thou wilt keep the United States in Thy holy protection;
that Thou wilt incline the hearts of the citizens to cultivate
a spirit of subordination and obedience to government; and entertain
a brotherly affection and love for one another and for their
fellow citizens of the United States at large. And finally that
Thou wilt most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do
justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves with that charity,
humility, and pacific temper of mind which were the characteristics
of the Divine Author of our blessed religion, and without a
humble imitation of whose example in these things we can never
hope to be a happy nation. Grant our supplication, we beseech
Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen."—the founder
and first President of our unique democracy 'One Nation, Under
God,' George Washington |

"[W]e ought to deprecate the hazard
attending ardent and susceptible minds, from being too strongly, and
too early prepossessed in favor of other political systems, before
they are capable of appreciating their own."—George Washington
"I hope I shall always possess firmness
and virtue enough to maintain what I consider the most enviable of
all titles, the character of an honest man."—George Washington
"It will not be doubted, that with reference
either to individual, or National Welfare, Agriculture is of primary
importance. In proportion as Nations advance in population, and other
circumstances of maturity, this truth becomes more apparent; and renders
the cultivation of the Soil more and more, an object of public patronage."—George
Washington (Eighth Annual Message to Congress, 1796)
"Gentlemen, you will permit me to put on my spectacles, for,
I have grown not only gray, but almost blind in the service of my
country."—George Washington (upon fumbling for his glasses
before
delivering the Newburgh Address, 15 March 1783) Reference: George
Washington in the American Revolution, Flexner (507)
"[T]he propitious smiles of
Heaven, can never be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal
rules of order and right, which Heaven itself has ordained."—George
Washington
"Every post is honorable in which a man
can serve his country."—George Washington
"But if we are to be told by a foreign
Power...what we shall do, and what we shall not do, we have Independence
yet to seek, and have contended hitherto for very little."—George
Washington
"I hope, some day or another, we shall
become a storehouse and granary for the world."—George
Washington
"[A] good moral character is the first
essential in a man . . . and your conduct here may stamp your character
through life. It is therefore highly important that you should endeavor
not only to be learned but virtuous."—George Washington
"Guard against the impostures of pretended
patriotism."—George Washington
"In proportion as the structure of a government
gives force to public opinion, it is essential that public opinion
should be enlightened."—George Washington
"Let us therefore rely upon the goodness
of the Cause, and the aid of the supreme Being, in whose hands Victory
is, to animate and encourage us to great and noble Actions."—George
Washington
"Knowledge is, in every country, the surest
basis of public happiness."—George Washington
"All see, and most admire, the glare which
hovers round the external trappings of elevated office. To me there
is nothing in it, beyond the lustre which may be reflected from its
connection with a power of promoting human felicity."—George
Washington (letter to Catherine Macaulay Graham, 9 January 1790)
"Interwoven as is the love of liberty with every ligament of
your hearts, no recommendation of mine is necessary to fortify or
confirm the attachment."—George
Washington
"[E]very man, conducting himself as
a good citizen, and being accountable to God alone for his religious
opinions, ought to be protected in worshipping the Deity according
to the dictates of his own conscience."—George Washington
"Arbitrary power is most easily established on the ruins
of liberty abused to licentiousness." —George
Washington
"Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity,
Religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that
man claim the tribute of Patriotism, who should labor to subvert these
great Pillars of human happiness—these
firmest props of the duties of Men and citizens."—George
Washington in his Farewell Address, September 19, 1796
"His example is now complete, and it will teach wisdom and virtue
to magistrates, citizens, and men, not only in the present age, but
in future generations, as long as our history shall be read."
—John Adams, Message to the U.S.
Senate, December 19, 1799
"First in war, first in peace, and first in the hearts of his
countrymen, he was second to none in humble and enduring scenes of
private life. Pious, just, humane, temperate, and sincere; uniform,
dignified, and commanding; his example was as edifying to all around
him as were the effects of that example lasting . . . Correct throughout,
vice shuddered in his presence and virtue always felt his fostering
hand. The purity of his private character gave effulgence to his public
virtues . . . Such was the man for whom our nation mourns."—Official
eulogy of Washington, written by John Marshall and delivered by Representative
Richard Henry Lee, December 26, 1799
"Perhaps the strongest feature in his character was prudence,
never acting until every circumstance, every consideration, was maturely
weighed; refraining if he saw a doubt, but when once decided, going
through with his purpose, whatever obstacles opposed. His integrity
was
pure, his justice the most inflexible I have ever known, no motives
of interest or consanguinity, of friendship or hatred, being able
to bias his decision. He was, indeed, in every sense of the words,
a wise, a good, and a great man."—Thomas Jefferson, letter
to Dr. Walter Jones, January 2, 1814

Washington is, unquestionably the greatest man on that floor."—Patrick

Character of Patrick Henry, Writ (132)
"Presently the orbs of each system are moving toward their
suns. Later the suns together with their orbs will move upward
toward the Central Sun . . . Thus, rather than being an unconscious
conductor (of energies), the student consciously becomes an
invocative priest or priestess.
"Beloved ones, when you desire to serve mankind, when you
desire to bless the elemental kingdom, when you desire to serve
in any crisis you must first make your own sphere of influence
harmonious. This is the magnetic power which draws the blessing
of the master, making you a radiating center of peace and balance
which can conduct the blessing."—Lady Master Venus,
1950s (Bridge to Freedom via Messenger Geraldine Innocente)
